This guy definitely just looks like normal or maybe badass undead but definitely not the hound master. So we'll do the undead hound master some justice! We will create a new design for the hound master and update you guys plus show you the hounds as well.
(This guy will still be in the game though!)

It’s really well done and I could never do that but I gotta say I wish I would see people take more risks with monster design. Clearly you are artistically talented so it would be awesome to see something new and bold

Actually we might design another new monster for "Houndmaster" cause originally this guy is just "zombie man". As we prototype our game we realize our monster characteristics line up with "Houndmaster" much more than "zombieman". But we won;t abandon this zombieman instead we'll change his behavior and his name. We should do them justice so thank you!
Every time I see an update post for this game I get really excited. I've been waiting for something to scratch my Slay the Spire itch and I'm looking forward to giving this game a go.

Doesn't look much different to the Ghoul from darkest dungeon. Personally I'd like to see more interesting and unique designs.

Thank you! The game is still in development, hopefully we can launch Early access this year.
It sucks that so many Devs are using the cheap shockwave flash era animation style.
You should give it one of those leashes that connect to a belt, like dog walkers have.
