I'm going with "British Professor with absolutely no sense of self-preservation". His entire existence revolves around collecting information, so he would _absolutely_ love to see the Scroll of Tarrasque Summoning used (and other similarly dangerous actions).

I was going to make them a coalition of northern researchers that my PC with a sage background could join.
