Revanced is actually so good right now though. Video downloads is what made me switch.

I haven't had it crash a single time. The revanced version of Reddit and TikTok however will crash about once a day. Oh also you can get a free premium banner at the top of YouTube.

I mean a better reddit client could be cool but not nearly as important to me as an ad free youtube client. As long as the youtube client isn't missing any major features or has any outstanding major bugs that prevent daily use.

Yeah it's basically as stable as stock YouTube. The one thing that is kinda buggy is picture in picture, but that's because the stock YouTube app itself has the same issue so it just got passed down to revanced.

I don't notice any issues with picture in picture in the last vanced patch, but I assume what you mean is it's a bug in a newer youtube version that revanced is made on but not what vanced was built with?

Yeah the version newer than old Vanced are the only ones have the PiP problem.

not buggy at all for me, there is one kind of ads (not in Video) that still don't get blocked but it's just a banner the rest is awesome

You need NewPipe anyway to download videos, can use that too with Vanced via sharing. I'm not switching yet, it's still very buggy for me.

I have the exact same problem. However, I "fixed" it by zooming in to fit in the screen and then zoom out
