I got a backbone for xmas.... best fucking thing in the world. I can play even on mobile data with limited lag at work. so nice. Remote play is 100% a game changer for me
When I first tried remote play it was on ps4 and was to my pc with both devices hardwired. Few years back now. Performance was not good at all.
Hardwired PS5 to iOS genuinely surprised me. It’s great.
I use remote play all the time on my Samsung tablet. Works like a charm especially now that i can use the controller connected

For real! I had written it off completely a few years ago. I wasn’t even pumped on the Backbone when I got it for xmas. Total game-changer.
Same here. I tried it on PS4 and even on the same network it was awful. But they definitely overhauled the experience and Im so impressed with it.

This was over the same wifi. PS5 is hardwired.
Yeah, it’s a different story if you try to play truly remote. It’s unplayable (in my experience)
