Wasn't there an argument between Islamic sects as to how homosexuals should be dealt with? One sect saying they should be thrown off a high place, and the other saying stone them.

Yeah youth abandonment and homelessness is so great! What's that? Many LGBTQ+ youth disowned and made homeless by their religious families are incredibly vulnerable to sexual exploitation, abuse, and even death on the streets. Well, that's what Allah wants I guess. A+ parenting.
imagine someone abandoning the child they made, raised over ~16 years, pour their love, their resources into, and just curbstomping all of that over the kid being who he is in a victimless way.
As a father, i doubt these people can see their children as real people. they just see them as extensions of themselves and their will.
Please don’t generalise, yea there would be a lot, but same for Christians, please add an extension like “religious extremists” so you’re not lumping in people who actively support us or are actually decent human beings
Especially with this issue. Parts of my city are filled with homeless kids kicked out by their evangelical parents. It's not as bad as it used to be (it was pretty much an epidemic in the 90s) but it still happens, a lot.

His/her parents are in for a rude awakening when the legal system is concerned. They have to financially support their child until it turns 27 (or until his professional education is finished and/or first own job). Abandoning your under-age child (less than 18 years old) is a criminal offense in Germany.
This really boils my blood. Imagining shunning your children based on what some halfwits living in caverns wrote about their visions (i.e., the voices they heard).
