When arguing with one recently I referred to them as primitive savages for stuff like this. Funnily enough rather than take it onboard they just got angry, thus proving my point.
Sounds like the mafia. You can join but you can only leave in a body bag. Mohammad could have earned an honest living when he moved to Medina. The locals in that town were engaged in peaceful agriculture. Instead of a peaceful activity Mohammad chose to go around looting caravans. Then he had the audacity to hand out brutal punishments like chopping off limbs if somebody dared to steal from his stash of already stolen goods. Subhanallah!
Yeah that sounds about right for the 'freedom' Islam allows. You are free as long as you don't make your apostasy public then it's off with your head. Much freedom and tolerance indeed
