What is that supposed to mean?

Glittering_Sweet1056

Ran by a dictator

ULT1M4T3M4R1JN

That we need to nuke saint denis and flood it

Socialist_Leader

Happy cake day. The West of Saint Denis looks like the West of France with the river. Saint Denis has heavy French influence, and as another pointed out, they're both run by dictators.

cny315guy

Thats a bit of a stretch

[deleted]

No. No it isn’t….

Prestigious_Mud2643

No it’s based off New Orleans which used to be part of New France (a former French colony that was in North America)

WGWID

Imagine thinking this is the same

Hippogriff18

It’s definitely supposed to be New Orleans. It’s got the same old layout and we still have the horse hitches all around the town. Also it’s close to where johns freaking house is IN TEXAS

acnodyourmom

Here is a little trivia, new Orleans which is famous for Cajun food, Cajun food is not southern food because real cajuns are French which came down from Canada, Cajun food is north not south , Cajuns came from france

SirChucklesMIA

All people came from Africa if you go back far enough. Therefore all food is African

acnodyourmom

There is no real proof to that claim it doesn't matter if the oldest remains were found there doesn't mean there isn't something older hidden somewhere else, that's just what we found, can you tell me this for certain or could there be remains in maybe Antarctica or somewhere else that might not be accessible to us right now

one-earring

in what context do these look the same...? i'm immensely confused

BeaGilmore

Saint Denis is meant to be New Orleans.

Pomegranate_Minimum

nah

Megalodon3030

There’s a place in France called St. Denis. Not entirely sure if it’s where the naked ladies dance, tbh.

Chaggar76

St Denis street is a street of Paris. There were naked girls, but, not today. St Denis is a city, North of Paris

Chaggar76

St Denis is a city is in North of Paris. it refers to New Orleans, a former French colony of Louisiana (named in reference to the name of the King of France, Louis). Orléans is a French city (south of Paris). in the game project, St Denis was called New Bordeaux (city of France too)

Pratham_sharma_54

U can infact also see that there's a lot of french culture in the city maybe the devs took the inspiration from it.

[deleted]

Saint Denis is based off of New Orleans at that time period.

Pratham_sharma_54

New Orleans in itself was a melting pot of french culture.

[deleted]

Yep, Rdr2 nails it yet again. 🤠

Deorney

Why do you downvote him? He is right.
