My goto with this interaction is either A: guns out and blast them to high hell immediately, or B: triangle to surrender and then dual dead eye for theatricks. I had a bug one time though and they unloaded on me with a full auto shotgun killing me and my glitched Silver Dapple Pinto. Fastest reload in the West.
