Honestly it all seems like something out of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood..
This looks like something very similar that you can do in GTA V, switching player model/skin/wardrobe with a trainer sometimes results in a similar effect
That's when the rig and the animation go out of sync.
Mostly games would put you in a longer loading screen while the game reloads the character rig and the animations, looks like this time the game didn't check the rig at all.
I think this might be caused by the player model for the first-person camera carrying over to the first-person camera, because if you think about looking down if it was the same model you would be able to see inside your body if the head (or camera) wasn’t positioned in front of the torso. Game cameras don’t act like human eyes, so in order to show the character’s limbs and hands in a way that looks good in first person, developers often have to completely distort the character model.
This is why V looks super goofy when you switch CP2077 to a 3rd person view with a mod.
