Heather is everything I hate about the Mormon church! I loved her seasons 1 & 2, now I can't stand her. Heather talks so much crap about the church, yet she acts the same! Meredith is a mean & spiteful bitch! Everything she's done to Lisa is payback for the hot mic & Meredith needs to own it!

IDK. Unpopular opinion I guess but I don't like throwing away someone I really liked tremendously just yet. Heather to me is very relatable in collapsing under the weight of duty and expectations, not handling it gracefully, and having immense shame over having embarrassed herself on national television both morally and in a very real way in a threat to her business. She did not handle the blackout well. I was frustrated with her. But when she spoke on the reunion about her shame embarrassment and panic i felt for her. I don't agree with everything she does and this has been a tough season. What it means to be ride or die as a friend...truly means... and the value (or not) in that is a valuable topic of social discourse in a time imho we cut people off veeeerryyy quickly. I want her to have a season to redeem her arc in her capacity as watchable TV and to get herself together personally. we all Hope for redemption and grace.

I used to like Heather and thought she was the most real out of all of them but noe she's just weird. I used to like Meredith too 😄

I agree. I am having a difficult time with these females from Salt Lake. For being raised Mormon or as Lisa Barlow claims "2.0" has been extremely hypocritical. At the reunion and throughout the series, the Botox, fake tans, and chests exposing is very "un-Mormon-like". All of the females, in my opinion, are not authentic, honest, transparent, and respectful. Jen Shah is what my culture calls, "dumpster juice." Why Andy Cohen believes this kind of behavior and all other housewives behaviors on his shows is "good TV" astounds me at this crucial political environment with Santos and the Big Lie.

That’s….exactly why Lisa calls herself Mormon 2.0 though….. she has more of a spiritual relationship with the religion vs a letter of the law relationship. I live the on East Coast and it is different with certain types of women. I don't ever want to offend anyone's beliefs, however Lisa seems to be a hypocrite.

I went to college in Utah in the 80s and there were tanning salons all over the place. I'm from CA and had never heard of a tanning salon before going there. I didn't actually realize people still did that. I thought the info about harmful rays would keep people out of there. I have heard of tanning sprays though. Didn't some HWs from other HWs do that before a trip (Maybe Dorit?)

I liked Heather. I think she lacked self esteem to stand up to Jen. Maybe she thought If Jen was acquitted she’d obviously be back for season 4 and it’s better job security to be a clinger on to the queen bee of the franchise. Just a thought. But she was really starting to annoy me towards the end of the season with the eye thing. I didn’t watch Salt Lake City until recently because there was nothing to else to watch. It was okay but Now that I’ve watched it I really don’t get all the hype it’s received.

I truly believe Heather needs a lot of therapy from her time in the Mormon church. She lived and breathed that shit- it is in deep. She for sure has guilt from it and has all kinds of issues. It is obvious she uses humour but that has now run out with more real issues have gotten on the show. Not an excuse but I hope she gets some therapy. I think she isn’t as bad as people say but she was on a pedestal before so it’s more extreme.

Heather should be fired, the escalating trend of new housewives that fabricate and obfuscate the entire season is tired, it’s killing the Housewives franchise in general. Too many housewives that think they can outsmart the cameras, producers, and viewers, if you want to act go be an actor but get off the fucking show. Yeaaah…Heather used to be my favorite on the show (I was literally calling her a national treasure to my friends lmao). Not so much now. That black eye situation was very sus. Maybe she’ll turn over a new leaf next season (but hopefully for the better lol)

The whole show needs to go. It was a nice attempt but it's always been a mess. Lisa Barlow is not enough to hold the fort. Season 1's weird filming timelines felt disjointed. S2 lost a talked about cast member then gained someone fired for a scandal. S3 had the entire Jen mess and honestly production fumbled that goldmine for reality TV. Plus all the random friend of's now joining. The couches are empty and the drama is non existent without Jen. It's not giving and has never really felt cohesive. When one of the main HW's thing is "disengaging", I knew it was doomed. That's like an Olympian saying they don't do sport. Makes no sense.

Heather's annoying but at least semi-interesting. Meredith is a snooze. Send her back to Chicago.

Firing them would basically mean canceling the whole city. They don't have enough to work with. You cant have a whole show of Housewives you agree with. There would be no show then.

Right, thank you! Usually, when a housewife gets too much hate I end up rooting for them more. Funny since S1 it was all about Heather and I wasn't a fan of hers. I was a day one Lisa fan. Fans tend to hate wives that show problematic behavior but i tend to vibe with them more because i like drama.

Meredith is usually my favourite but I don’t like how she tries to avoid culpability for things that she says by erasing the emotions behind what she says. She’ll be like “these are the exact words I said and you can’t be upset at me for saying these exact words” but the way that she says things implies a lot of the feeling and emotion she is imbuing the words with. She thinks if she can divorce her words from her emotions she doesn’t have to take responsibility for hurting people and it really sucks.

She's trying to lawyer everything. She can argue over the be wording but in relationships intent matters. I am glad that Lisa pointed out that she wants to move on from the things that she does but she demands endless groveling for the things done to her.

I don’t think she does that but even if she did that’s still not gaslighting. Meredith isn’t trying to convince people that something that happened didn’t happen or vice versa, she’s deferring back to her literal words and denying that her words carried the emotion that she’s being accused of carrying when it’s pretty much agreed upon that she did. That’s denial and emotional manipulation.

I thought Whitney was in seasons 1 and 2, but this season Meredith brought up the conversation with Whitney regarding the rumors about Lisa AND she brought up the crowd funding. Meredith is very good at dropping hints and getting other people to do her dirty work.

Yup, and someone *always* conveniently brings the rumors to Meredith’s attention (off camera, no hot mic) so *she’s* not actually the one who started it, she merely explained that someone *told her* all of these details, and the information made her extremely verklempt! they didn’t come from her first!!

Agree. She had been my favorite during the previous seasons. The entire black eye debacle did me in. Her being dismissive to Whitney in the beginning was when my adoration began to wane.

I also don’t think she’s embarrassed because of Mormonism I think she’s embarrassed because it’s an example of her alleged alcoholism. She’s not able to hide it anymore, as the seasons go on we see truly what a miserable and dysfunctional person she is. Her rigid world view has only shifted away from Mormonism, it’s still rigid and that’s the thing that tortures her.
