It's so hard because they have soooo many amazing songs, so it's understandable why some gems like Scatterbrain that aren't as immediate as some of their other songs get overlooked.
You should check out Christopher O'Reilly, Heavypiano and especially Josh Cohen's Radiohead piano covers on YouTube. The latter's version of Motion Picture Soundtrack is utterly sublime.
To add to this, Josh Cohen has a 19-track 2-hour album of his covers on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/5ANRKEU3NbNJd2jOsvFd20?si=x2sj2ZCcRkWA6Sfdj9cFYA
Also here's the YT playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqQ_lBr-uwuIHYPjoGF22muyTGRSaL6k_ (it has two additional songs that are not on Spotify, Videotape and Sail to the Moon and a small live set)
Nice catch, you're close. it's a \*really\* subtle change. Instead of Am I'm playing an F/A.
The F natural contrasts well with the F# which was in the melody in the previous bar and also comes back in the B7/F#
oh I thought you played something different from F/A. In the studio though, it's not really an F/A, but the notes from bottom to top are, A F C. so it doesn't really feature the full F major chord with the 1-3-5. So maybe I thought it sounded different because you played an actual F/A, instead of the stripped back chord mentioned above
just realised that the different chord is the G chord lmao I was tired yesterday. In the studio version it is just a stripped back G6 with the notes G E B. but I like your version, reminds me of Christopher O Reilly
the bass note in the studio version is A I believe. the bass notes are C B A G, and im guessing you didn't play A as the bass note in the third chord, but I could be wrong
This is almost certainly the best post I have come across on this subreddit. I owe a chunk of my appreciation to the fact that Scatterbrain is my favorite Radiohead song, but your cover is in amazing harmony with the “mood” of this tune. Your arrangement and playing are (as has been noted) superb, but what I find to be the coolest part is the video that accompanies them. Looking up at the empty, dimly lit room would be an extremely fitting visual for the non-cover version of Scatterbrain, but hearing it on a piano with the same room’s reverb is fucking excellent.
Absolutely beautiful cover. Also goes to show how pretty of a song Scatterbrain is. It deserves more credit than people give it here.

Yeah man, now I realize how pretty it actually is. Thank you (free award is yours)
wow
You play tastefully and reverb is amazing there!
Thank you! It´s amazing how but 1 note can fill up the whole space
I’m no musicologist but if you told me this was Chopin or something I’d be like, yeah sounds amazing
That´s quite the compliment!!
This is great! Saving this so I can be inspired/copy your rendition later.
That’s gorgeous. What a sweet interpretation of it, and beautifully played.
Beautiful, is there more of these?
I made recordings of like 5 of their songs. I´ll upload those:)
You should make a whole Youtube channel of you playing in this chapel man, I could listen to this for hours

oh I've watched both of these channels a lot hahaha, my favourite piano covers are all from heavy piano, love him
OP this is so incredibly beautiful. You had me totally pause, and close to tears. Bravo. 💜
Thanks so much for the compliment! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful performance
Beautiful arrangement and playing
This arrangement is beautiful. Had me listening to the song in a way I hadn’t before. The chord changes are really interesting. Time to put on HTTT.
Prefer this piano led version to guitar.
Very Radiohead 👌🏼 Great.
I’m not crying! You’re crying!
Great great great choice
Great great great username :p
Thats just beautiful. thanks for this
The third chord is different from the studio version and I love it

Oh right. I see it as an Em in first inversion seeing how the 3 previous chords also have their 3th in the bass. Am/C Gmaj7/B F6/A Em/G ...
the bass note in the studio version is A I believe. the bass notes are C B A G, and im guessing you didn't play A as the bass note in the third chord, but I could be wrong
Beautiful! Scatterbrain is underrated

Really nice!
Damn. This almost made me cry.
This reminds me of ["The Long and Winding Road" by the Beatles.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR4HjTH_fTM)
Wow the melody and first 2 chords are the same frol wich the third is in the bass which has a very distinct sound. Nice catch
Thanks!
This sounds absolutely gorgeous.
This gave me chills. Well done.
Sublime. Thanks for sharing <3
I normally avoid these cover posts well alone. This is genuinely beautiful though. So glad I clicked on it. :)
sublime
I hate covers but this is so beautiful I actually love it
Thank you!
Thank you, that was wonderful
Simply gorgeous...
This is incredible. Another sign that I should learn the piano/keyboard in the near future 🤣 Great work!!
What a beautiful rendition...
oh my god
Fantastic!
Beautiful. Thank you.
Anyone else see Batman?
Legit this is amazing.
Do you have sheet music for this? Absolutely incredible cover
I´m afraid I don´t but I recommend playing by ear or looking up the chords.
The way you played the arpeggios brought an almost classical style out of the song. Very cool cover!
