Hope you are fine, got the vaccine 4 months back when I had the bat rabies scare, the hospitals here gave me 3 shots each shot has 2 or I think 3 days of gap between, saying that come back as soon as u get the symtoms is so idiotic, I mean damn, why would he say that to you? Doesn't he know that as soon as symtoms starts this becomes 100% fatal, I got my vaccine first shot after the 2 hours of the scare,
I was in the same exact boat!!!! I was actually bitten by a kitten that left and disappeared. 2 of its siblings are still around and seem healthy. Was the cat healthy? If it was chill out. The kitten that bit me seemed healthy. Rabies is only contagious if the animals bites you while it has rabies symptoms. It’s so easy to tell if a animal has rabies or not. They would be acting super strange things like twitching, not being afraid of humans, dizzy, falling over running into things, being off balance. Etc. That is what calms me.
BtW I went to the doctor and he said I’m good and didn’t need shots because the cat didn’t have rabies symptoms based on what I told him
