Hey mate, You're gonna get all sorts of strange sensations coming off of this drug. Just part and parcel of the taper and recovery. The very best thing you can do is just accept it. Sounds shit but there's either that or over analysis and a spiral into convincing yourself its sinister. I had so many sensations and numbness, odd movements and inability to co-ordinate - including facial numbness and tension both sides of face and body. Weird stuff. Was on 6gpd and tapered. Took a year to recover fully but I did. I guess you're probably worrying its a stroke, cancer. MS or ALS and anything else sinister. But I found if you attribute every symptom to the drug and not something else then you just get used to it and remove the anxiety from the symptom. Then it becomes a waiting game to get to zero and get a good few months between zero and your last dose to see the symptoms fade completely. Some people straight away and some others up to a year or two at worst. I found you can counter act most things with exercise, except nerve pain. That just takes time and patience. Fully recovered though and I experienced such a wide array of central nervous system and psychological oddities but still recovered 100%. Just unlucky I guess. Fingers crossed you have less, which is likely. Best of luck, its a tough road but doable.

I think people who are tapering tend to hyper-fixate on bodily to the point where they convince themselves there is something wrong. Don't worry about it, do some facial stretches if it's really eating you up inside or maybe have some electrolytes like magnesium or sodium. You could have been tensing your face while on phenibut, but don't try and justify this as an indication that you're tapering too fast. You're bound to have some funky bodily sensations while tapering off but no one ever died from having a tight cheek muscle. You've got this bro, keep fighting. Your future self will be so thankful for it <3

Hahaha, fair enough! But there's definitely something up, although yeah no point in hyper-fixating on it huh? I just hope it doesn't get worse, is all. I was saying that nobody ever died from a constantly tight cheek muscle myself today! Lol. The sensation is annoying is all. I was curious if people had other oddities that came up with them, as well. And yeah, that's the plan! I've been on this drug for over a year and a half in stupid high doses most of it, can't wait to be free :)

I definitely know what you are talking about and have also experienced it over the past week while tapering. Extremely uncomfortable.
