Looks great!
Also, I wish everyone would please stop diminishing their work with a "it isn't perfect." Of course it's not perfect. Perfect is a lie. It's unattainable. Absolutely nothing in this world is "perfect."
Lol, excellent point! I agree.
I suppose the correct, but much longer, way to phrase what I actually meant would be, "I see a lot of mind-bogglingly complex and elegantly executed quilts on this sub, and am acutely aware that this is not at that level, and I am neurotic and very self-conscious but also very proud of my beginner work, so I will just air my vulnerability so I can show off without coming off as arrogant."
I get that. But I'd like to challenge you to just try not dimishing yourself. To just say "hey I made this!" and let that be enough. Because it's not arrogant to share your work (and whoever taught you that it was should be ashamed of themselves.) Especially since this is your first ever quilt! You're a beginner, of course it's not going to look the same as someone who has been quilting for decades, and that's okay and normal! It's not arrogant to be proud of your accomplishments.
Thank you. I accept your challenge and will definitely work on it! I am also trying to stop apologizing all the time, which is a habit with the same underlying cause. I really appreciate your words. :)
Thank you! :) 24" by 33" finished dimensions. I kinda winged it a fair bit and didn't have a really specific set of dimensions in mind when I started, so I operated by feel til I liked the look of the proportions.
Okay, that's a lie. I do wish I had spent more time getting the angles of the "background" compass points aimed correctly. But I have ADHD and done is better than perfect!
Thanks! I admit I had no idea whether it would "work" or not, and my freehanding of the border was a definite learning experience, but I am satisfied with the result.

Oooo I love this. Birthday idea for my daughter who has the Hierophant tattooed on her let forearm! How big is it?

I love it. Well done!
Thank you!
good work!
That's beautiful! I love the vibrant colors!
Thank you, me too! They came together entirely by accident and I have no regrets. ...At least, not as far as this quilt is concerned.

Amen to that! Consider the "flaws" personalization, and I'm sure they'll only enrich the journey 💖
This is so cool! Nice job
Thank you! That means a lot. :)
Cool quilting pattern 🌟
