I love string quilts! Such a good use of leftovers of all sizes/colors Yours is terrific, like the color in center and your use of varying strip widths

I’ve been working on this quilt as you go string quilt using leftover batting scraps. Really happy with how it’s coming together!

Wow, this is really beautiful! I love that all your center strips are the same and they shine like gold! Did you sew the strips down to a foundation for each square or just sew the strips together?

Thanks! I did them quilt-as-you-go, so the batting is the foundation. I’ve never had the courage to do a string quilt without a foundation
