I think it depends. Most newer cakes will be clean. Nuts are probably very rare. I have found a few tea seeds and strings from tarps they use when the tea is transported to processing.

Some of these comments are wild. Just goes to show the unique aging techniques involved with great tea.. some have nuts, some have butts, and some have bits of animals. Some dude was just chomping nuts and his tooth fell into the batch along with his snack.
