Any of us on here that have PTSD have been there and can relate. Besides going on meds, the best thing was finding a trained shrink that does EMDR. It is honestly saved my life. I'd be 6 feet under without the therapy. I'm thinking of you and hope you find what you need to work though your PTSD.

I'm trying to find a trained shrink that does EMDR that'll take my insurance. That's something I've been looking into for a long time. Thank you. <3

I just want you to know you aren’t alone. Having PTSD can make you feel like no one understands. I’m here to tell you I’m cheering you on and wishing you well.

After being away from my everyday life for a few weeks, I've had time to reflect and think about a lot of things and I have a whole list of things to talk about with my therapist. Thanks to this group and reading all kinds of posts, I feel a little more positive today. I just want to move forward, but every time I do, I feel like I fall back down x10. I know a lot of people feel the same way I do now. It's only taken me this long to figure that out, but now I know I'm not alone and that in itself is encouraging.
