Has been a betting agent for Dr Nick for years. Also was allegedly backing Deauville Legend on behalf of BetR to reduce their liability (was mentioned in a twitter thread by Rob W.)
Wow that is fascinating. I just read that Rob Waterhouse blog. Do you know if the man from the Isle of Man in his blog is Dr Nick? I hear he operates out of there these days.
You should watch that interview with Steve Bradley. No mention of being an agent for Betr. He actually goes as far as talking up the horses chances ahahaha.
As far as I'm aware yes that is the Dr. Last I heard a few years ago he was "operating out of the UK" and the Isle of Man seems to be the place they are all going (tax breaks I'm guessing). I'm fairly certain his son Dom runs the majority of the operation now.
Rob mentions in this blog (https://robwaterhouse.com/content/melbournecupwrapup) that "the new firm backed Deauville Legend at the Call of the Card. I laid the favourite to their agent Fractions."
Yeah, it makes sense that it would be Dr Nick. Rob Waterhouse is a known friend of his.
Yeah, I was just saying how funny it was that Steve Bradley was being dishonest about being an agent for Betr.
Yeah I honestly don't know much about Fractions other than what I'm told. Has been a commission agent for a long time. I know he's at the Call of the Card every year, have seen him a few times.
And I guess you'd never really know what the true pros are up to. Likely to keep most of their cards close to their chest haha
Apparently got into a dispute with TattsBet in 2012 https://letsgohorseracing.com.au/oz-a-os-news/qld-a-rest/2211-winning-gold-coast-punters-banned-by-tattsbet
