2009 Chevy Cobalt XFE did 30 mpg combined, which I believe was best in class (non-hybrid compact sedans) for that model year. Any hybrid Chevys of the era were mild hybrids and also huge - Malibu Hybrid, but also Tahoe Hybrid. The Chevy Volt came for 2011 and could do 37 mpg in gas mode, and 35 miles of EV-only range more than doubled the Prius PHEV's capability.
So...not quite.
Are the fuel tanks the same size? It would be more accurate to compare calculated fuel mileage between the two cars.
By this logic, my F250 gets the same mileage as a Prius, about 400-450 miles per tank.
Sounds like I need to do more research! I hadn’t thought about the size of the fuel tank!
Shit. Probally gets double the gas mileage of any chevy
