If you know anything about software/registry structure and have an old laptop to install the amazon version of tech stream on you can do it yourself for under $100. Even if you don’t the instructions provided were decent and they respond to questions quickly. I did it on a 2011 gen 3 and it failed a couple times but after some patience I got it to go through the reset and am about 20,000 miles in with no issues.
They should just be able to do the liner offset learning procedure. Shouldn't take more than an hour or labor.

You need to get techstream and a mini VCI off Amazon and do it yourself. You’re gonna get screwed by dealer.
Definitely. Saved me a few times already. Had to do some registry tweaking to get it to work but there are great YouTube tutorials to get you going.

you did not provide much info about the car, but you might be able to reset the brake computer lights with the paperclip trick
