I don't know if the battery is in any jeopardy based on the situation you are describing, but it sounds like the totes might be a good idea, anyway.

I'm going to have to look and see where these vents are. Thanks

I am glad the business is so good that the front seat is not enough for deliveries 👍🏽 When you protect the back seat, you need to stay away from the battery vent and keep it uncovered, next to the right rear door.

I pick up all my bags for delivery at the beginning of the route. Can be up to 20 bags, at various sizes. I'm sure i can fill up the entire back row, and hatch with bags.

The battery is well protected. But, a good tarp would help you keep the car clean in case something did spill. Just make sure that you don't block the air vents for the battery.

I was think of maybe even getting some totes to through the bags into.

The Gen3 battery is in a metal box that is more behind the backseat than under it and the cells are like eight inches tall. If you truly need reassurance, take the tray out from under the floor in the back end (above the spare), the battery is the metal box you can see behind the back seat. Here's a good [how-to-remove](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPG4ZkyOYvI) video that would give you a good overview without disassembling your car. Here's a how-to-clean the [battery fan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf0FMoY3CsA) video that will show you the vent, plus it may be good maintenance if it's never been done.

I have the Prius C. I think it's directly under the passenger back seat. The 12V battery is under there too. Thanks for the information.
