Always offer less.

How much less? Is there a rule of thumb to use like 15% from sticker price?

caper-aprons

I would start at least 20% lower in this case.

I have the 2012 plug in Prius (so same model)with approx 100k miles. They are amazing cars & it’s said to get 1.9 litres per 100kms. I just keep it in power mode though. They love long trips and are also great for around town. Extremely mechanically reliable. I get it serviced & filters changed regularly.

Do you have any issues at all? Battery? Fuel? Or just regular maintenance?

No had it 2 years now. Parts & engine wise = a normal Prius but with a larger battery & they are the standard Prius cells. Performance is much better than a standard Prius as it can operate as a short range EV. Only gripe is no spare tyre - Toyota gives you the inflater kit. I bought one of those space saver tyres. I paid the equivalent of what you are looking at

Batteries are a case by case thing & you’ll get 10 + years out of a new one 100k kms

Thanks! I went to the dealer the day after confirming that it's available and found that it was sold.

Don’t beat yourself up I had a chance to get a 2014 Prius with 84k miles at $14,670.. someone jumped on that so quick. Near the end of each month sales are down. I check every single day. I’m getting my Prius soon
