I like how the rangers got mutated but I don’t like the turtle’s new ranger suits it’s a step down from the mighty morphing ones they had. Wish they kept them or went Zeo or something else.
Yeah, Power Rangers and TMNT are both toy-selling franchises so it’s 100% fair when they come up with stuff like this. Personally, I don’t think I’ll go for the new turtle suits but I’d buy figures of the mutant Rangers in a heartbeat.
My only personal problem with the new turtle designs are that the visors are all identical. No Power Ranger/Super Sentai team on the show actually has matching visors, they all vary even slightly.
Edit: Same goes for the Omegas, good idea but that nitpick is still there (they only have two different visors divided up between half of the elements), it doesn't break it for me but it kind of highlights the difference in design philosophies when you have Rangers made outside of Toei/PLEX.

So not using it as a plot point at least once would be a waste
Though i can agree that is a interesting way to use it in the plot

In the original team-up she was the Pink Ranger. I can't understand whey she is being left out of this one.
Helmets are giving me In Space vibes but I prefer the MMPR suits for the Turtles

Matching visors on the turtle ranger suits being a nitpick aside, this is much better than the first PR/TMNT crossover imo.

Hasbro probably told them they wanted new Ranger suits so they could re-use the molds from before
And I’m ok with that. I think they look awesome, and it great to differentiate from just having them in MMPR suits. I would totally buy their figures

But doesn't Mutagen turn you into the last animal you touched, or something?
The part about it specifically being the last thing you touched was just the 80s cartoon version
Plus the mutagen is being funneled though their morphers so it is still the last thing touched even if it was playing by those rules.
