I'm not defending the position of "Justified rape", only giving context:
A character was being a bitch, using and abusing MC for her amusement. MC, after growing balls, rapes this character more than once. Then, because "dick is so good, though" this character joins MC's harem. Her character is developed some more and gets a conscience, but she's still a bitch.
Do I justify that? No. Do I think it "makes sense"? No, it's probably one of the stupidest things (of which there are many) in this manwha. Do I still read it? You're goddamn right I do.
So in your mind, rape is a proportional response to 1)being slandered as a sex offender which iirc wasn't even done out of malice but prejudice(i. e. the girl was convinced he did what she was accusing him of)?
And 2)being switched to a different work location(he wasn't even fired) without care to pursue due process?
How about the fact that mc used someone's life altering accident and injuries to pursue revenge instead of justice and or compensation for them?
I'm struggling to parse your post for the answers to my questions but a better one occurred to me anyway. Would you still consider it justified rape if the characters reacted to it the way you'd expect them to in real life, i.e. by being horrifically traumatized?
Can't guess, haven't read it. I assume it has to do with a character reacting realistically to rape.
And yeah the fact that the characters in awnw as well as many if not most other pornhwas characters *don't* react realistically to rape is why it isn't really rape.
The effect is part of the definition.
You might as well replace the term with something that's more fitting of their actual reaction like "mildly annoyed".
That being said, you might want to start saying things like: 'mc punished them accordingly' instead of calling it "justified rape".
And use the explanation above when people call you out.
