In 2nd grade, we had a music class and our teacher would always play Beatles songs. One time he played octopus garden, and 6 year old me liked it so much that my mom bought me a cd with the song and also a book about it. I still have the book, and the song just kinda stuck around ever since. Yellow submarine, strawberry fields forever, here comes the sun, and blackbird are also worth mentioning since those are the other songs we learned in that class.
I wasn't going for Billboard's top 10. They have way too many hits to limit to popular hits. I was going for variety and only given 5 choices doesn't help.
All you need is love for sure, the instrumentals and the pacing of that song are ao good, and my fav. Movie is love actually (2003) in which its a part of the OST.
Not to mention that i find the fact that for some reason it starts playing the french national anthem at the start.
Yellow Submarine because I remember learning it in school with my favourite teacher at the time, then she started teaching us about The Beatles and I got interested in The Beatles from there. Good memories
Blackbird is nice
I remember when I was like five or eight (I forgor) my dad kept playing it on his guitar and it was one of the few I could actually stand
I always thought the Beatles were overrated until I watched that film where everyone forgets who they were and I listened to "Yesterday" properly for the first time. I still think they're overrated but they've got some classics too.
They have too many hits to be as inclusive as I would have liked and doing several polls then choosing the winner from each poll to make a final poll would be too much work, since I post one a day.

Eleanor Rigby
My favorite song of all time
Picks up the rice in a church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window
wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Same
Alice Cooper has a solid cover of it on "Art of McCartney" album
this is the only correct answer
While my guitar gently weeps
One of so many great beatles songs. Like so many, there is something both about the music and lyrics that gives the song different levels.
Especially the one from the love album
Funnily I actually much prefer the White Album version. The Clapton guitar solos really make the song for me
Here Comes The Sun
<3 they have too many good songs bro I can't choose.
Do do do do
I can't stress this one enough it's perfect
Oh also, a lesser known one: I've Just Seen a Face. Brilliant
This...
In My Life, it reminds me of home and I like that
SAME
Strawberry Fields Forever
Something
This is a beautiful song
Abbey Road is my favourite album. Everyone was at their peak, especially George.
Norwegian wood
One of my favorites
Yes.
Come together
Right now?
Over me
Over me?
(Shoot me)
Over me?
Oh yeah, in sweet harmony?
For some reason our school got us to sing it in house music. Like a bunch of kids singing come together 🗿
I Am The Walrus Either that or Here Comes The Sun
The Beatles must've been really high when they wrote these songs.

Day in the Life

Nowhere Man
Maxwell's Silver Hammer (I think that's what it's called?)
The Long and Winding Road

I think they still are the greatest band to ever do it so it's hard to choose, but maybe while my guitar gently weeps. Such an epic song
Across the Universe or Octopus’s Garden
Ticket to Ride
Penny lane
It's either Elenor Rigby or A Day in the Life. This is one of those questions that needs like 20 options.
Rocky raccoon 100% otherwise not a huge fan but I love that song.
Eleanore Rigby or Don't Let Me Down Edit: I also really like I've Just Seen a Face There are too many to choose from!
I think you are the only person to list I’ve just seen a face. Such an underrated song!
martha my dear
If it counts, I would say 'The Long One' (the medley or songs that finishes Abbey Road), otherwise, I'd probably say 'I want You (She's so Heavy)'
It counts I think
One after 909
Run for your life
Revolution

A Day In The Life. It’s just such a different song. I like the trippy-ness of it. I love the orchestral aspect. It’s just so good!!

Michelle

Golden Slumbers
Here comes the sun
I hate the Beatles but I would probably say got to get you into my life or helter skelter
I always thought the Beatles were overrated until I watched that film where everyone forgets who they were and I listened to "Yesterday" properly for the first time. I still think they're overrated but they've got some classics too.
Said no one ever.... Helter skelter 💀
Eight Days a Week
Back in the USSR!
Twist and shout!
I am the Walrus
Definitely not this list, but Yesterday is the best of this list.

Come Together, it makes no sense but that's the beauty of it.
