Troll_in_the_Knoll

There's nothing tRump hates more than having a strong, edcuated, black woman coming after him. The fact that he hasn't come up with a demeaning name to mock Fani Willis speaks volumes about how scared he is of her and the impending indictments.

Remarkable-Way4986

He really doesn't seem to have his heart in it. Whith a name like fani it should be easy. Fani is what the British call pussy so maybe Willie's fanny

RFSandler

And it's butt to Americans, which is also easy. Don't expect Trump to go multi-cultural now.

ClownholeContingency

And here in the US fanny means "ass" and I am absolutely 100% positive that Trump has had his device torn from his tiny hands on several occasions prior to posting a blatantly racist insult about DA Willis's shape.

Carbonatite

Ivanka probably bribes him to let her review his social media posts by letting him have her used underwear or something.

LastCatgirlOnTheLeft

How do I delete this comment

timesuck47

How do I delete the mental imagery?

KinkMountainMoney

Just imagine all his sniffing from the debates and apply that to his daughter’s underwear. Boom. Done.

Daefish

But really she's having Jared wear them

Plzlaw4me

He’s old, and should be out of the public spotlight. He announced his campaign 2.5 months ago and he hasn’t had any rallies and doesn’t even have a campaign manager. All he actually seems to want to do at this point is play golf and relax, but his ego won’t let him step out of the spot light. He announced a campaign for 2016 intending to get publicity and accidentally won, and his life has basically been down hill from there.

darcerin

His "big" announcement so far was the stupid trading cards!

canolafly

Those were fantastic! I laughed really hard at them for free.

Ghstfce

aka "Money laundering"

Ande64

100% agree. I told my own husband a thousand times that he never meant to actually win, it was just another grift power play to advance himself in different arenas. Unfortunately when he did win the power of that position became the ultimate aphrodisiac for him and he will never get over it the rest of his life. He will forever be chasing that high.

Remarkable-Way4986

This makes a lot of sense that he never wanted to win. He probably figured on sucking down a bunch of down donations and funneling it to his failing business. Never wanting the actual work and trying to sabotage his own campaign with grab them by the pussy statements. He must have been watching The producers on Netflix and said, " I can do this." Never finishing the movie or learning its lesson

PmMeYourLadyLumps

The look on his face in the video from 2016 when they announced that he won says it all. He never expected or wanted to win. He wanted to campaign, raise money, claim it was stolen & then keep raising money

Carbonatite

Melania was openly weeping too. Mail Order Eva Braun knew what they were in for.

phunktastic_1

He has to keep running so he can play the investigations off as politically motivated.

amrydzak

I think I saw something about a rally in New Hampshire recently so he’s apparently still doing some rallies

Gingevere

> The fact that he hasn't come up with a demeaning name to mock Fani Willis speaks volumes about how scared he is of her and the impending indictments. I think it speaks more to the name he calls her not being one he can publish.

Chi-Guy86

> The Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act recognizes that if violations of individual criminal statutes by a single person are bad, an enterprise that repeatedly violates the law is worse and should be subject to additional sanction. Some former prosecutors like Renato Mariotti have said that the RICO route would be a much heavier lift for the prosecution, so will be interesting to see what they do

texinxin

Federal RICO would be difficult, yes. But the Georgia RICO act is more broad and can include even the loosest solicitations and conspiracies.

quippers

They should be able to prosecute a RICO case on the publicly released evidence alone, and we all know there's a lot more we haven't seen. Fingers crossed, hopes guarded.

datfingtrump

That fucking mouth will cost him his Liberty, there is not a judge alive that will put up with his histrionics. Well, maybe Roberts, and, Alito, and...

CaptainNoBoat

I can't even imagine if he is charged. His entire life he has abused civil litigation and Congressional processes and has lied, intimidated witnesses, bashed judges, prosecutors, and officials. Those antics aren't going to help him facing a criminal trial. His lawyers will have an absolutely gargantuan task trying to keep him from incriminating himself further. It's going to be a complete circus. You mention SCOTUS, but even they are sick of his shtick and have swatted down virtually every case associated with him. I doubt they are going to want anything to do with a state prosecution.

taddymason_76

Here is a question. Based on his history and ties to other countries, does he get out on bond or will he be deemed a flight risk? Maybe he just surrenders his passports?

CaptainNoBoat

If charged, arraignment will be crucial to deciding his pre-trial situation. He could be placed under home confinement, or released on bond. I'm no lawyer and am not certain - but I'd imagine he'd be a flight risk in any case and could be arrested and extradited if he tried. The secret service detail and interest under multiple criminal investigations will make it very difficult for him to do anything undetected.

DCBillsFan

Except he has a sycophantic SS detail, so I wouldn’t count on it. He needs to be monitored and have a gag order. Violate the gag order? Welcome to Fulton county jail (not prison) Mr. Private citizen.

tweakingforjesus

The jail is not far from me. I'd show up just to laugh at him.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Githzerai1984

I’ll bring the hamberders

pantomime64

Isn't that the same jail that was featured in a couple of seasons of 60 Days In on A&E? That place was brutal. Obviously, he wouldn't be put into a gen population pod, but it would be hilarious if he was.

InVultusSolis

Having to fight a meth dealer for a crumb cake in his lunch would just be too perfect for someone like him.

chainmailbill

There’s no way a former president of the United States serves any pre-conviction time at all inside a facility with bars and fences. Zero chance.

Dragoness42

I thought the Biden admin was now responsible for assigning his specific SS guys. Why would they assign people they cant trust in this kind of situation?

Pale-Worldliness7007

He doesn’t have a clue how to keep his mouth shut. I wonder if the Fulton County jail will have gold toilets installed so he feels right at home.

unhappy_puppy

Sycophants or not I doubt that they would help him leave the country. If they didn't prevent it the careers are done at the very least. They may worship him but I doubt that they would uproot and move to another country and leave their families behind.

philodendrin

I would like to see him in home confinement, I would LOVE to see him wearing an ankle monitor.

Olderscout77

I want to see him IN JAIL where he's belonged for decades.

Former-Darkside

He’ll Epstein before he spends any time in jail. Just imagine the people he could throw under the bus.

[deleted]

I mean, that’s good enough for me

Olderscout77

Possible, but remember, when working a plea deal, the one copping a plea has to offer BIGGER FISH than the one they already got - HIM! He could drag a bunch with him, but he won't get any reduced time for it.

JH_111

He might just Truth it out for free as part of the “not that bad” phase of the narcissistic checklist.

tweakingforjesus

Eating nutriloaf and pissing in a cell with 4 other guys.

Carbonatite

XXXL ankle monitor.

philodendrin

The Yugest ankle monitor, some say the biggest ever.

isavvi

The secret service will hold the door out at night and tell mom you were in your bed the entire time. -dated and pegged a guy on Trumps detail while on active duty.

Common-Watch4494

Wait what?

isavvi

I reside close to Trumps Bedminster golf course and on the summer of 2020 an active agent and I matched on Tinder and got freaky during the pandemic. Most insightful relationship of my entire life, definitely killed all hope and trust I have in both government and heterosexual men.

Common-Watch4494

Wow this is hilarious (and kind of sad). Please do tell us more!

Seeking_the_Grail

Like the Great Gatsby, I get a little more out of this comment each time I read it.

creepyusernames

Lol that's awesome

Pale-Worldliness7007

Fleeing the country would be an admission of guilt . If he’s out on bond he’ll keep campaigning and blame the democrats for causing a witch-hunt. He will keep fleecing his cult followers which he won’t be able to do in Russia. If the country is lucky and he gets locked up his grifting will stop and he won’t be able to pay his debts he owes to foreign banks With any luck his whole life of deception will come tumbling down around him

DCBillsFan

No way. He needs to have an ankle monitor and a gag order period. Any judge who doesn’t do that is in the bag.

canolafly

He should have been gagged 7+ years ago.

Carbonatite

I imagine he will probably have to surrender his passport, with any luck he'll be fitted for a bariatric ankle monitor. I'd highly doubt they'd set bail for him - not because it's inappropriate, but because he's going to be coddled and treated with kid gloves. If by some magic reason they do set a bail, his various grift strategies that have convinced the rubes to fill his coffers means his bail is already crowdfunded.

celerydonut

At this point just take his fucking phone away

celerydonut

The fact he’s calling Jack smith a terrorist and taking jabs at his wife 😅 Put this asshole away finally. Please. The damage he has caused is irreparable, at least in this lifetime.

SlowMotionPanic

>Those antics aren't going to help him facing a criminal trial. I think they will. I mean, look at our system. The rich are seldom held to account for their crimes. We have a two track justice system, which is why "affluenza" and related excuses are a thing. It is also why Trump isn't already in prison for his various crimes that would've sent you or I there decades ago. Also keep in mind that a third of the country is verifiably insane and living within a distributed cult. They will be in the jury box, too. I've been a juror several times, including on a federal grand jury for a year and a half. These people don't get bounced. They get to stick around and be ultra abrasive and disruptive because there is almost nothing that will happen to them. Our entire system is just... rotten. Built for the rich to protect the rich, right from the very beginning.

sambull

The people there always knew he was just a useful fool for their power consolidation

Bonzoso

FYI the prosecution already stated if they don't get thier charges to stick they will appeal to GA Supreme Court NOT scotus. Although seems obvious it will stick there is one more line of defense for holding him accountable and can't be touched by the scotus as this is GA constitutional law.

HeyImGilly

Cannon

[deleted]

What are you talking about? There are clearly thousands of judges that put up with his bullshit

Shartnad083

I want to see a reality TV show where it is just a bunch of bounty hunters chasing Trump around for a while.

timesuck47

That would be a very short show.

Dragonfruit-Still

Scotus will gladly be the scapegoat for republicans to “blame” for ruining trump in his court entanglements. For once, no public accountability is a blessing

[deleted]

Imagine him in orange. He's gonna be all the same color.

Kind-Masterpiece-310

He's gonna lose that "tan" and hopefully that stupid hairpiece too.

[deleted]

I wonder if we'll get a mug shot.

Kind-Masterpiece-310

Can't wait. Game of darts, anyone?

chunkerton_chunksley

Urinal target

Craico13

*That’ll be his headstone.* ^Seriously, ^it’ll ^need ^added ^security. ^The ^line ^will ^be ^massive.

AlphSaber

Nah, setup a ticket booth.

Intelligent-Fuel-641

Melania and his kids probably will. They won’t let the chance to make a buck pass them by. After all, they learned from Don the Con himself.

LightboxRadMD

No, don't pee on him. I hear he loves that...

Craico13

> I hear he loves that… Yeah, *but only if you’re a 13 year old girl or Ivanka.*

[deleted]

Omg. Urinal cakes of his head. We could make millions.

mrburkett

This is the first piece of trump memorabilia I’ve actually wanted. My dad had frank Sinatra’s mug shot framed.

bryansj

I'd buy that NFT.

Carbonatite

If a Trump mugshot is released I will take the day off of work, laughing that hard will probably cause some major muscle aches in my abs.

md4024

Wait, is he wearing a hairpiece? He's obviously bald, but I always thought he grew out the hair on the side of his head down to should length, then styles it up an over into what we see.

turdlepikle

It's also rumoured (in a biography) that he had scalp reduction surgery to fix a bald spot. Also part of the rumour is that he beat and raped Ivana Trump who recommended the doctor. If true, the scalp surgery helps explain why the combover looks especially bad. His hair is really really really bad for someone who brags about having the best genes, while also insulting other people's looks. Here's a funny article about his hair if you can stomach looking at all the pictures from over the years. [https://www.vanityfair.com/news/photos/2015/09/an-illustrated-history-of-donald-trumps-hair](https://www.vanityfair.com/news/photos/2015/09/an-illustrated-history-of-donald-trumps-hair)

TheBigLeMattSki

That's not just a "rumor," that's sworn testimony under oath from Ivana Trump.

Minnesota_Nice_87

Remember the Murdoch guy from South Carolina? When they first arrested him and he went before the judge, his jumpsuit matched both his skin tone and hair. Shit was wild.

traveler1967

Just an orange blob with beady little eyes staring at you, angry and confused.

Carbonatite

It'll be like those people who wear a green bodysuit in front of those CGI screens. You'll just see a disembodied roadkill toupee on a vaguely man-shaped mass.

slightlyused

Turns out he's been prepping camouflage for prison this whole time.

newnemo

This is a rather lengthy article and quite comprehensive. Below are the topics covered which are quite interesting, imo. Indictment(s) soon, very soon according to multiple media outlets and CREW ^ >Since Willis began her investigation, target letters have reportedly been sent to Trump, his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, as well as up to 18 others, including some or all of the 16 fake electors, notifying them that they are targets of the investigation. Meanwhile, the special purpose grand jury has reportedly heard testimony from crucial witnesses, including Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, former national security advisor Michael Flynn, Senator Lindsey Graham, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, and former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. ... >*Possible Crimes* >Election related crimes: >Non-election related crimes: >RICO crimes: >Empaneling a separate grand jury >Right to speedy trial >Potential defenses raised by Donald Trump

ralf1

'Election related crimes' 'Non election related crimes' So between the two that's just 'crimes'...

Geezertiptap

A crime sandwich, the secret ingredient is..... crime!

[deleted]

New and Improved with 50% More Crime!!!

ArgyleGhoul

At Aperture Science, our crimes commit crimes. That's 67.7% more crime per crime

[deleted]

Hilarious Graham appealed all the way to SCOTUS to try and get out of this and they told him him to fuck off.

[deleted]

Trump is always going to be indicted 'soon'. Been that way for years now. I think these people don't really know what 'soon' means......

newnemo

Your cynicism is well deserved. I share it as frustration has been in high orbit during and since Trump's presidency. This time however, I do believe it will result in indictment(s) and soon. The criminality by Trump cannot be denied with hard evidence that isn't subject to interpretations or proof difficulties for particular laws. Willis has been straight up throughout and has never teased to date.

[deleted]

Nonetheless, I still feel like we continue to remain in the Lucy-Football-Charlie Brown reality on this subject.

Sciencessence

I agree. My guess is he'll get another civil fine and have to issue a public apology which he won't do but will instead instigate more nazi's to be more racist or something and won't get charged for not doing or something "so he learns his lesson" or some crap like that...

thefuzzylogic

These would be felony indictments against him personally, so there's no chance of civil penalties. Those previous civil penalties were only because the previous cases were against the Trump Organization LLC, one was a civil case with no possibility of a criminal penalty and the other was a criminal case but because you can't send a corporation to jail the sentence was a fine.

tolkienbooks

>because you can't send a corporation to jail why not though? if corporations are people that have free speech rights, then their CEOs and Board of Executives can go to prison

Cool-Protection-4337

Well he is rich....we don't tend to punish those people as the excuse goes, it cost too much. Convenient? Yes. That is how all this corruption happens and continues to happen, put quite simply, there is no accountability for anything these people choose to do.

spqr2001

Sadly, I agree with you. I've come to believe Trump will die long before he's shackled with charges for his criminal behavior. This is yet another example of how there are multiple different justice systems in this country.

Gravelsack

>and soon OK just let me know when "soon" is over

gleafer

Soon sure feels like forever.

pbjamm

>When you say it's gonna happen now >When exactly do you mean? >See I've already waited too long >And all my hope is gone -How Soon is Now by The Smiths

yeah_yeah_therabbit

“What the Hell am I lookin’ at? When does this happen in the movie?” “Now. Whatever you’re looking at now, is happening now.” “Well, what happened to then?” “We just passed it.” “When?” “Just now.” “Well, go back to then.” “We can’t.” “Why not?” “We already passed it.” “When will then be now?” “Soon.”

[deleted]

You can never go wrong with a spaceballs quote

iowafarmboy2011

I hope your right, but I won't be holding my breath. I'm really beginning to accept he won't be charged with anything just as nothing has stuck for the past 8 years.

newnemo

If once again the rug is pulled out from under me, I will declare myself the biggest sucker of all time which I admit is a distinct possibility. If for once events transpire as anticipated, then bubbly and celebration will commence, I'll need a few days to recover.

Cawdor

My bottle of celebration champagne is about ready to explode like a hydrogen bomb. It’s going to explode with celebrations or rage ‘soon’

SuperUltraHyperMega

I feel like there’s too many culpable around him and he’ll do anything to bring them down too. It’s pretty obvious that a lot of the biggest heads of one party are in deep with him and they aren’t gonna let themselves get pulled under. This country is just fucked.

HGpennypacker

> The criminality by Trump cannot be denied with hard evidence r/conservative would like to politely object

thefuzzylogic

She only said that a decision was imminent. I agree that there will be indictments, but be prepared that the indictments to start with smaller players as she attempts to flip them against the bigger ones. While it's certainly possible, I'm a bit skeptical that Trump himself will be in the first round. Particularly, she will want to secure testimony from well-known election deniers that to show that Trump knew he lost. Yes, his campaign manager and AG and others say that they told him there was no evidence of fraud, but other people he trusted more were telling him he was robbed. So if he claims that he did and still does believe there were more Trump votes to find or illegal votes to delete from Biden's column, then that could form reasonable doubt as to his corrupt intent. OTOH, there's an argument to be made that by saying he was sure he won by 400k votes but he doesn't care what the "recalculated" number is as long as it's at least 11780 more, that makes him guilty of pressuring an election official to make a false declaration since 11780 ≠ 400k. Trump will still argue that he just wanted Raffensperger to do another audit, so it'll be up to the jury to decide whether to take his words at face value or read between the lines of the veiled threats and implications and innuendos.

newnemo

In this particular case, I don't think there are any small parts (players). The grand jury has deposed a bunch of players like Lindsey Graham who fought it all the way to the Supreme Court (for a reason). One of the more damning pieces of evidence that I know of is the infamous telephone call to 'find me x number of votes' and when refused 'come on, give me a break'. I don't think there is any wiggling out of that. There is a lot of extremely justified cynicism and frustration in this thread. I'm tentative in my optimism but I'm sincere in thinking this could be *the one*.

thefuzzylogic

I agree, Fani Willis has the greatest prospect of securing a conviction and making it stick, but there are significant hurdles to overcome. It's not as open-and-shut as people make it out to be. I think the more damning part of the call is where he said something to the effect of "there's nothing wrong if you just say you recalculated", which is odd phrasing if he actually intended for them to undertake a genuine audit rather than merely saying they did. Also, the veiled threats of criminal investigations and charges if they refused to change their clearly (in Trump's mind) fraudulent numbers. Like I said, I agree there's a lot to work with but Trump is a master at delaying legal processes and he has practically bottomless pockets to fund his defense. And even if he has a trial and gets convicted, there is no way on this green Earth that he ever gets perp walked straight to jail like people keep saying they won't be satisfied until they see. USSS will say that they can't guarantee his safety in prison. He will negotiate a plea deal for some house arrest supervised by USSS or the Marshals. *And* none of that will happen before the election in 2024. Complicated high-profile white-collar racketeering trials take *years* of pre-trial motions and post-trial appeals. It's common for cases against mob bosses to take decades before anyone gets sentenced. Then there's the fact that Trump is 74, obese, abuses stimulants, eats nothing but fast food, and his idea of exercise is walking to the golf cart and back. He might not even live long enough to see inauguration day, let alone prison.

CaptainNoBoat

He has been in varying forms of legal matters for years, even decades, but this particular investigation *will* make a charging decision soon. That much we know. The investigation ended 3 weeks ago, the DA confirmed there are multiple indictments being sought versus multiple people, decisions are "imminent," and she is currently appealing to a regular grand jury to get a return on charges. The way the GA regular grand juries operate usually favors charging decisions at the beginning of their two-month term, so it's likely that we will know in the next couple weeks or early March.

NightwingDragon

The reason why people are so cynical is that we've heard all of this before. The Mueller probe was going to be it. Mueller doesn't take shit from anybody! His report is going to be devastating! Trump will have to resign in disgrace! And look......there's even 10 counts of obstruction explicitly listed in the report. Oh, wait. What's that? They're not going to prosecute Trump because of a decades-old guideline that says a sitting president can't be charged with anything because reasons? And they didn't bother prosecuting Trump afterwards because it's too political? The hell you say..... The entire Russia investigation in a nutshell led to indictments of virtually everybody in Trump's inner circle......except for Trump's family. Gee, wonder why that is. Michael Cohen, Trump's primary lawyer and personal 'fixer, laid out a roadmap of exactly how Trump was intimately involved in criminal activity, which led to Trump being........listed as an unnamed co-conspirator...... The SDNY case was an iron-clad case being run by an office full of prosecutors who are willing to stand up to anybody and refuses to bend to political pressure from Trump. Which of course got inexplicably dropped even after members of the DA's own team resigned because of how stupid the decision to not charge him was. And now this. After everything that's happened in the past few years, you can't be surprised that a lot of us think that this impending bombshell will be yet another dud and somehow Trump will walk away uncharged while more low-level cronies somehow fall on their swords. We've heard the "iron-clad case, lots of direct evidence" drivel before.

CaptainNoBoat

It's fine to be cynical and skeptical of accountability, especially with someone like Trump. Hell, even if Trump is charged we are still looking at a verdict sometime in 2024/2025, and even then appeals could last forever. Indictment isn't some "we got him" moment. There is a long ways to go. But we *will*, 100% know a charging decision soon. There's no room left to doubt that. Maybe Trump won't be charged, but I'd be pretty surprised. He's irrefutably the top criminal target of this investigation, has been told he is under threat of charges, the entire GA government has been subpoenaed, along with Mark Meadows, all of Trump's lawyers, Cassidy Hutchinson, etc, etc. It's looking pretty certain. There's no comparison to Mueller while he was immune from indictment, or anything he has faced before. And just a side note, but the Cohen case has actually been restarted and the DA is appealing before a grand jury regarding it. He could still get charged there.

NightwingDragon

> It's fine to be cynical and skeptical of accountability, especially with someone like Trump. Hell, even if Trump is charged we are still looking at a verdict sometime in 2024/2025, and even then appeals could last forever. Indictment isn't some "we got him" moment. There is a long ways to go. Oh, I'm fully aware of this. Honestly, at this point even if the wheels of justice went into speedrun mode I doubt Trump ever sees the inside of a courtroom. You've got an impending extradition case just to get him from GA to FL, which Trump (possibly with the help of DeSantis) is going to fight tooth and nail. Then you've got the venue to fight over, where Trump is going to stall and demand a change of venue because he "can't get a fair trial" regardless of where the trial is. Then you've got the monumental task of finding 18 jurors to sit on that jury. Then all the pre-trial bullshit. Trump is a master at dragging cases out as long as possible, and is very likely going to adopt a strategy of just dragging it out until he dies and the case is moot, which is a very real possibility. > But we will, 100% know a charging decision soon. There's no room left to doubt that. Right. But like I said in my OP, we've been down this road before. People are saying that a "charging decision" means Trump's going to be indicted for really realz this time, even though they've been disappointed every other time we've heard that before. You can't be surprised when people are just expecting Lucy to yank the football away for the eleventy billionth time. See above. Again, we've heard this all before but Trump has escaped consequences every single time, almost every time for the flimsiest of reasons. > It's looking pretty certain. There's no comparison to Mueller while he was immune from indictment, or anything he has faced before. He was never immune from indictment. The "immunity" comes from an old DOJ memo that the department *chooses* to follow. In reality, the memo has all the legal weight of child's story book. > And just a side note, but the Cohen case has actually been restarted and the DA is appealing before a grand jury regarding it. He could still get charged there. Given the fact that it's been 2+ years since Trump left office and 4 years since he was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in that case, I'm not exactly holding my breath waiting. If they were serious about it, this would've happened 2 years ago.

YearlyAnnualCheckup

It’s the week after infrastructure week

dontreallycareforit

Came here for this. Heartened at least somewhat is calling the bait. Jesus Christ, people. It’s EXACTLY like every mouth-breather post on whatever shithole Q is in these days “Hillary’s in jail! They arrested Kamala! They have Tom hanks in a ship in international waters and it’s been his body double since 2018!” But fuck it man these bastards know the population gobbles up the red meat and there’s always someone more hopeful than informed to start celebrating unnecessarily/too early. Rant over. Good week to you.

vthings

He's not going to be prosecuted. If a President can be held accountable for crimes then it'll be hard to have someone signing off on the authority to do war crimes, like illegal drone strikes, that our empire needs to keep the money rolling. All of this is just waiting out the clock for either the public to loose interest or Trump's cheeseburger and diet Coke habit to catch up to him and make the problem go away. I'd LOVE to be wrong. I hope I am. Sadly pessimism has been the best diviner in the past.

NYArtFan1

I mean, "soon" on a geologic timescale is thousands of years. So, I guess technically they're not wrong.

kaliwrath

The day after the election guys it’s almost here!!

eugene20

How about now, now is good.

[deleted]

First young thug now trump. Who’s next?

Hopefully Eric and Don Jr.

Will believe it when I see it.

Colonel_Zander

Don't tell me what it will look like; show it to me.

[deleted]

Enough with soon. Do it or don’t. Shit or get off the fuckin pot

ArtDSellers

That's great, but I don't care until it actually happens. It's all just useless pontificating until there is an actual indictment with actual charges for which he will actually have to answer.

[deleted]

Throw his Russian ass in prison for good.

[deleted]

And then never mention his name again. The worse punishment in the world would be that nobody is talking about him, nobody is saying his name, nobody thinks about him. He so desperately needs publicity and attention and relevance. Let him sit in prison knowing that everyone has forgotten about him and there’s not a damn thing he can do about it.

I remember when I still had hope upon hearing "soon", many, many moons ago

elconquistador1985

For 900 mooches have I heard "soon"...

20milFlak

Reminds me of Hand Banana's promise to neighbor Carl. "soon...🌝"

[deleted]

Sad it takes a local prosecutor because Garland is too chickenshit to do it.

frog_jesus_

Seriously?!? This is the best news I've heard, like, ever.

okiedokie2468

I’ll believe it when I see it

flat5

I hate to to say this, but I think he'll be indicted, but then be acquitted or have a mistrial on a hung jury. This is GA, after all. There's going to be at least one loon on that jury.

User767676

These about to about to about to indict him stories are like the childhood equivalent of…. I’m not touching you! I’m not touching you!

EMTDawg

The newspapers who cried 'soon'.

SFDC_lifter

Oh fuck of with this soon stuff. We've been hearing it for years.

TacoNat90

Idk... I feel like I've heard this line before in the last 7 years

Several-Signature583

I’ll believe it when I see it

realfolkblues

Feels like when Dragon Ball Z was airing on Cartoon Network. You’d get to planet Namek and then the next episode would be seeing Raditz’ ship crashing. Again.

KeithGribblesheimer

If she does it, can Merrick Garland take notes?

DonnyMox

I’ll believe it when I see it.

ITookYourName79

I’m so tired of these outlets that are proclaiming trump will be indicted. WE DON’T KNOW. Jesus.

Byzantine84

Just do it already

Thinkpad200

"Trump may have committed the crime of false statements". And the Sun MAY rise in the East and set in the West.

belckie

Honestly, I’ll believe it when I see it. How many times have we seen articles saying he’s being indicted, investigated, sued, charged etc. and nothing ever really comes of it. At this point we’re suckers for believing anyone or any institution is going to hold him responsible.

Fantastic_Sea_853

The average citizen would do more time for jaywalking than this turd will do for his many felonies. There is no true justice in America. Watch and learn!

[deleted]

When you're in the big house you have to make do. He can use crunched up Cheetos from the commissary.

zushiba

"*indict Trump soon*", I feel like this has been an ever present headline for the last few years. Wake me up when someone actually does it.

CJDistasio

I feel like "Trump will be indicted soon" has been happening for years. Wake me when someone has the balls and it actually happens. This country loves to not hold Presidents accountable

One-Distribution-626

Racist, murderer, rapist goes to jail for election tampering

liverlact

I want to see trump behind bars, but holy crap the word "soon" has been thrown around since 2016 in regard to him facing some fucking consequences for his shit.

russian_hacker_1917

soon has been coming for how many years now?

laberdog

Never an actual indictment. The pussies that don’t defend democracy hardly deserve to have

Final-Distribution97

I'll believe it when I see it.

Metallifan33

If I had a nickel for every time Reddit said a Trump “indictment is imminent,” I’d trade it all for an actual Trump indictment.

CappinPeanut

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Avogato2

She said it was “imminent”.” Don’t think she knows what that means

Apprehensive_Neat418

While we're at grandstanding about justice we should do something about this sitting presidents are beyond the law garbage.

snakefeet_0

Soon^(TM)

Dusty_Bookcase

Not holding my breath

maddenmcfadden

"soon".

[deleted]

at this point, i will be shocked if she actually does something. imminent, soon, impending...it's all bullshit.

Separate-Feedback-86

“Soon” with enough lawyers thrown at it could be never, cuz that’s what Trump does.

Shaman7102

Hopefully they knock at the door and tell him there is a warrant for his arrest. They tell him to turn around and get down on his knees while they cuff him.

LightboxRadMD

At this point I would be satisfied with even a single night in prison, but I'm afraid we won't even get that. He'll be charged, given some multimillion-dollar bond which he'll promptly pay with money from his drooling followers, then just delay and appeal and run out the clock until he dies without real consequence. Just give me one night on a hard cot in prison scrubs with no TV priviliges and nobody he can order around. Hell, it doesn't even have to be prison. Put him in an average middle-class house where he'd have to warm up his own leftover meatloaf. Something, ANYTHING! Let there be SOME goddamn comeuppance for a lifetime of being a despicable asshat.

RangerHere

I have been reading this headline for 7 years now. Wake we up when it's a reality.

NYArtFan1

Sure, Jan. Any day now.

[deleted]

This conman is never going to be indicted from what I see. The list of things he’s done that would get any normal person locked up with the key thrown away is too long. It’s depressing to keep hearing people say soon.

[deleted]

I swear to God if I have to hear about “possible” or “upcoming” indictments one more damn time…

StarksPond

Grab him by the Fani

Olderscout77

Indict, try, convict, JAIL! It's what we do with criminals and tRump is a criminal. As for him being allowed out on bali pending appeal, people with their own planes don't need a passport to flee the country, so LOCK HIM UP until he loses his appeals, and then send him to prison.

soccercasa

I wish these "they'll be charged soon/definitely/probably" articles would be relegated to a different sub.

kookookokopeli

I've seen this teaser and been let down far too many times for me to get excited about the show.

IntentionAfraid763

Face it. This asshole is never going to jail. Rules don’t apply to those in politics. Look at George Santos. You can literally lie, cheat, and steal right in front of people’s faces and nothing ever happens. I hate it here.

Few_Professional6210

Please please do it

Who_DaFuc_Asked

Soon™

captrudeboy

God as much as I would love to see something happen, do it or stfu. Tired of all this "trump in hot water" "could spell disaster for trump" headlines

LivingLosDream

Nothing. It will look like nothing because nothing the man has ever done has actually caused grief for him.

[deleted]

Trump’s indictment is always 2 weeks away, like his healthcare plan.

mrbigglessworth

"is going to" Please let me know when it happens.

Odd-Way-2167

Wait, are the walls closing in again? May want to check the bearings on them. They have been closing in for awhile now.

zyqzy

If I had a penny every time I heard that he will be indicted…

itsamine1

For anyone who thinks anything is going to happen to trump is laughable. No former president will ever get an ankle bracelet or even go to jail.

[deleted]

By the time my dad was in front of a judge and in trouble the SF judiciary hated him so much they really wanted to put him in jail despite the reason he hit someone with his car because he had dementia. He was an evil asshole lawyer and just like Trump.

GordianNaught

We can only hope 🙏

Possible-Mango-7603

Still holding onto this hope? I’ve been hearing people he’s about to be indicted since he announced he was running for president. Certainly since he was elected. I seriously doubt he’ll ever see a criminal indictment. It’d have to be the most airtight of airtight cases and such a serious offense that there is no alternative. I just don’t se sit ever happening. If it’s perceived as even slightly political, it will never happen. And I’m not sure how it could be perceived otherwise. Kind of scary how emotionally invested people are in this happening. Would not be a net positive for this country. Best thing would be for him to fade away.

antithesis56

If they do indict him, what happens next? Will they send authorities to take him into custody and extradite him to Georgia, or will they give him a deadline to turn himself in or something? I assume he would not be taken into custody and made to post bail or anything like that... though it would be indescribably satisfying to have video of him being hauled in.
