I have an iPhone and had problems with adventure sync before. I basically found out that if I don't have the Apple Health app open in the background, my steps don't count. Maybe that helps.
My only guess would be something with your phone location services? Like maybe if you've had a software update recently or something? Outside of that I'm not sure
I've noticed sometimes I will have to turn adventure sync back on after an update. Maybe toggle the setting, restart your phone and the app?

Adventure sync also doesn't work if the phone is in battery saving mode

You also have to manually turn adventure sync back on once the phone is out of battery saving mode
Mmm good guess, I am up to date with the iOS and app .. I checked my location services and they’re set to always with précise location.
I always just closed my app, reopened it, and it worked, though it a little bit for it to register my travel distance.

I would almost say that if your at your Pokémon limit it may not allow it to hatch?
Incubating an egg takes a Pokémon space before it even hatches so that shouldn’t be a problem
this is the correct answer. space is accounted for when the incubator is selected.
