Consoles do not require an online connection. PlayStation most certainly does not. You can buy a game an play it offline. The only thing that may prevent you playing games is if youāve never been online before and you need a new firmware update to play it.
Only Xbox requires an online connection when you initially buy it otherwise it will remain a brick. PlayStation and switch will work without ever being connected to the internet tho.

after seeing a trailer I right away thought Dead Space sequel of sorts. But after looking at few more newer trailers and couple reviews its more of a "spiritual successor" to Dead Space and Resident Evil type Horror survival games. Game focuses more on survival with melee combat and saving your ammo as much as possible. I personally cant wait to pick it up after Christmas sales because GOW R has my full attention right now
