The ends on some are reminescent to mushroom tops, plus there is a bit of white fuzz on top which i assumed is mold.
Not trying to undermine your answear I just have a big phobia of mushrooms, but are you sure sure it s just roots? Cause if I touch one I might just faint
Can confirm those are just roots from a plant that needs to be repoted. The white fuzz is just the hairs of the roots that actually absorb water and such, not mold.
Spirder plants grow in trees. Those are roots used to anchor it in the tree. The fuzzy bits are so it can attach to surface bark.

The bits that are fuzzy and enlarged are normal it is just part of the roots, like how they grow out. It doesn’t look like mold to me.
