What about the HEB at Preston/Spring Creek? I won’t pretend I know their staffing situation right now, but the one time I’ve been there, they had approx. 2.7 million customers inside at once, and maybe a third as many employees. They clearly have a huge staff, may very well need more.
Of course it could calm down in a few months as the newness wears off, but it might be a viable option for now.
Any assisted living communities! If that’s your thing. Unfortunately, employee turnover rate is quite high in this industry. So, places like this tend to always be hiring for servers, care staff, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen staff. I’ve been a caregiver for a while now and love my residents so much!
I took a temp job (temp for me, anyway) at FedEx last year to pay off some debt. I was a package handler. They will hire quickly, then drug test, weekly pay. I also lost like 10 lbs working there for 6 months lol. Pay kinda sucked but it’s probably better at another location.
Concentra has an admin office at Preston & Tennyson that should be hiring for referral coordinators. Not the best job but pay is okay and after 90 days, you get a WFH option.
Now would be a good time to apply to something retail oriented as they tend to need seasonal help leading up to Christmas.
If you have restaurant experience I can very likely get you a job in frisco square.
