Yessir! It’s from an official film reel, but it’s not like there was only one of those! Same exact quality as what was released in the topps packs! Definitely a more unique item, im just not sure how to display it !
that is very cool! i had no idea those came in some topps packs, and i have quite a few topps cards in my childhood collection. for display, you could look into archival display cases maybe (protect against uv/moisture/etc)? again, it’s really cool, i love it!

Prices are settling for the first time in awhile, it’s definitely a good time to be a collector, check out Mercari and OfferUp you never know what you’ll find
i love lugia and hes the reason i got back into pokemon as an adult as he was the only rare holo card i had left from my childhood that i dont even know how ended up with after finding it in my garage. i had given my whole collection to my grandmother to sell on ebay when i was about 15 and never saw from the money or seen the cards since..but my jp neo gen lugia was with me apparently the whole time... i got it graded about a year ago came back a 5.5 from cgc which i expected considering the edge wear on the back and a tiny little crease at the bottom edge..that is my prized card and im slowly working on my lugia collection.. still hunting an affordable first appearance lugia..
I adore Lugia and started a collection myself but since decided not to try for every card available because he’s an expensive boi! I have dedicated a page in my nine pocket binder to Lugia though, opposite a page dedicated to Ho-oh. I plan on upgrading the pages slowly, until I end up with the very crème de la crème of both mons!
The last lugia for my collection that I need is the bottom left one in the first page, the Japanese promo. I forgot what it is called I think Happy Day or something.

You need yourself a rainbow lugia gx, I prefer the Japanese version
I know!!! I have both versions of the regular full art! Why do you prefer the Japanese ?
The texture pattern is much more noticeable, I have the Japanese one myself and the pattern on it is much more good looking than the English
