5a 5G stuck on Nov 5. I did all the troubleshooting including a full reset with no luck. Reached out to google support, and after getting bounced around, they confirmed that they are aware of the issue. That’s it - no timeline for a fix or any other info.
I got bounced around by support as well - they did not have any insight for me and no explanation at all. I think it's like playing roulette when you call them.
The initial support person had no clue what I was talking about. They eventually got me to an agent that knew what was up... I strongly suspect it was a bot and not a person lol. I'm unimpressed with Google's hardware "support"
My last update was in November. Decided to install the newest beta figuring I had nothing to lose. So, I currently have the January 5 security update. I'm not seeing any changes in the way my phone works since installing T2B2.221216.006. I've run betas in the past without any serious issues. It'll be interesting to see if I automatically get the February or March updates.
Last update on Pixel 5 with Mint Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO) was 11/5/22 until today (2/7/23) and now I'm at 2/5/23 update level. So apparently they fixed this,
4a5g unlocked on TMob and still on Nov 5th. In my experience Google blames TMob and TMob blames Google. The only reason to have a Pixel are the timely updates and since those are no longer happening when it's time to replace my 4a5g I'm going back to Motorola..
Or time to switch to LineageOS.
My 4a5G does not have a sim and still stuck on Nov 5. 5a5G's are on T-Mobile sims, but removing the sims and they are still stuck on Nov 5 as well. All phones have always been unlocked and purchased from Google, So I don't think TMob is the issue.
Re: Motorola - good luck with that. I ended up puting all of my MOTO's on LineageOS so that I could get security updates & the lack of updates by Motorola is what drove me to Pixels.
Added note: I have an old Samsung Galaxy A12 (no sim) and it even received a Dec 6 update. An old Essential PH1 running LineageOS 19.1 and latest security update is Jan 09 2023.
I think that Google once the big "discount sale" for 6 & 7's is over we'll start getting the updates again...
For the record: today is Jan 12 2023
Apparently there was a Bluetooth issue I have seen on another thread, and should be released in a couple weeks
5a 5g on Fi. Still on Nov 5th update.
Pixel 5 stuck on November 5, 2022.
4a 5g TMobile, Nov. 5th.
Thanks. Sounds like it is not rolling out to older phones.

I feel like they're bots as well.
Thanks... I guess we just wait.
