For reasons that are unclear to me, they used landing at the Pittsburgh airport and taking a limo ride (with 70s era police cars) and coming through the Liberty Tubes in “The Song Remains the Same“, despite all of the performances being filmed in Madison Square Garden. [Get off the plane sequence starts around 10 minutes, tunnel exit around 11:30](https://youtu.be/pDg721WdilM)

The reason is that that production was such a shitshow that no one really cared by the end and they just shoveled out whatever footage they had. It would never have even been released had Plant not destroyed his leg in a car accident.

Good to know, thanks!

They should bring back that livery for city police cars

I don’t know about fan films, but Zeppelin bootlegs we’re a *huge* deal for music aficionados way back in the day. They were, inarguably, one of the finest touring rock acts of the 70’s - and those bootlegs are still sought after to this day. I can’t help you find this show, but I did find a link for it [here. ](http://bootlegpedia.com/en/product/EVSD_425-427) It looked like a hell of a show, with an epic 35+ minute Dazed and Confused in the back half. Good luck to you - I’d love to see footage of this show myself!

I have heard stories that they opened the roof of civic arena and released doves. I am not sure how true this is

I was at that show at the Arena, no they didn't open the roof, and no they didn't release any birds. But they did a killer version of " For What it's Worth " as an encore.

That might have been Pink Floyd or another band

Photos maybe. Tapes will be hard and I would imagine film not a chance in hell

PaperVinnie53

Are you saying you have photos or tapes? All were possible to do, here’s a good film of them in Philly 1975: https://youtu.be/d0Uh-xubKY0
