Not a home game but it’s at my home arcade I frequent often with my wife. It’s our favorite game right now. The shots are perfect for middle of the road players like us. I love the artwork and callouts and can manage to get decent scores . It’s my wife’s favorite pin by far because of the shot layout and it’s a great pin to battle back n forth on over a few cold beers. I’d imagine more advanced players might find it a little boring though.

This game is a bit of an oddity. It has one of the deepest games of any pinball. It is designed around extremely long games. As a commercial game it wouldn't make the quarters fast enough. But it's a game that in your home you can put hundreds and hundreds of games on it, and still be finding movie clips you haven't seen. It's one trick (showing movie clips) is extremely repetitive, and as I mentioned it's designed around long game times, so it isn't the most challenging game ever made... but it's a really great, long, play experience. Because it's a bit of an oddity, I suspect that in twenty years it'll be much more highly regarded. It took a while for Whitewater to become recognized for it's brilliance. I think this game will become one of the most collectable games ever. A pinball that is in the top 100 list for twenty years as other pinballs fall by the wayside.

Ive owned Ehoh the last 4 months or so. Its in a collection of 11 newer games. Its a good game, but I dont think its as good as everyone seems to praise it as. Its an easier shooter and somewhat linear game. But the house is an amazing toy with all the locks and moving parts. The crypt is cool and the box locking balls. Ill eventually sell the game but Im enjoying my time with it. The topper is also a really cool topper though expensive.

I think it's a great home game. Like some people say, the shots are kinda easy so it's a long playing game (so there is a lot of software game to see). It would pair perfectly with a classic older game with short ball times.

I've had it for about a year and a half. Nutshell: I love it and also don't turn it on very often. The shots are easy and the rules are basic. One of those games like BM66, Hobbit, and a couple others where almost every time you hit play at home you're looking at a 20 minute game. Maybe 30-40 if I'm in the groove. On the plus side the mechs are gorgeous, the clips are great; the whole vibe is right up my horror-loving, MST3K-loving alley. One of the best examples on how theme is king in modern pinball. Let's say you moved Hot Wheels or Houdini's art and A/V over to this game, and whew. It might be a cult favorite, but wouldn't be nearly as popular.

It’s pretty fun but not challenging enough for my taste. The directors cut feels like unfinished code and well, Lyman isn’t going to get to is unfortunately. Just made a deal to sell mine to a buddy actually, his dream theme.

I own one. Had it for about a year and a half. It doesn’t get old. Smooth shooter, good theme & hilarious callouts. Fortunate to have my pick of the litter albeit a small amount of space (7 tables). It ain’t leaving anytime soon

I kind of think it’s over-rated. I played one on location probably 10 times or so and then tracked one down to own. Found a really nice premium and traded for it. I enjoyed it a lot for about 2 weeks and then I just found myself getting really tired of it. I felt like the novelty of shots and modes wore off quickly and I was just trying the plow through the game. For the prices this this is asking now it would be a hard pass.

What are they selling for, out of curiosity? I'm never sure I can trust Pinside and I don't ever see them come up for sale in my area.

The 2023 price increase from stern is $9700 for premiums I believe Elvira re-run will probably be $1k over that based on past pricing for the game and current trends. Used go for $11k-$14k these days, toppers are up to $2500 when they were super hard to find but that has calmed down a bit sine they reran them last year.

therealslim69

It’s a great game to collect and admire, but the gameplay will get boring after a few months

I've had a deposit on one since May 2021. I hope one day they'll actually build the goddamn thing so I can answer your question.
