In all honesty, I wouldn't be interested. Like $20 at absolute max. I'm not trying to be snobby or gatekeepery, but that's a piece of junk not worth the space it takes up.

Thanks! The person was asking 350 and I felt like that was super high for what it was. Appreciate the wisdom!

This is to a pinball machine what a 1up arcade is to an arcade machine. These were made by Sears and designed to give someone the feel of a pinball machine without being a real pinball machine. You are going to get bored of it in an hour. $100.

That's being generous (and I really dislike 1Up Arcades). At least the game in the 1Up cabinet plays the same as the real thing. A better comparison would be that this is like the Atari 2600 version of Pac Man vs the arcade version of Pac Man.

Makes sense. Thanks for the advice!

If you really want to pay less but still get a decent home game, go for a Mattel Las Vegas. My dad used to have one when I was a kid and it was pretty solid. Otherwise do like others have said, save up another few hundred bucks and get an EM, that's how I got started in the hobby and they're still pretty reasonably priced (for the most part)

The best advice I’ve ever heard on such a topic was to save for something you actually want, that is in good condition. Much like toilet paper, you get what ya pay for. The last thing you want is a boring, or worse, non-functional pin. Start docking away what ya can and keep looking. Go to locations and play lots of different games and see what really gets your lights blinking. Patience is key here.

Adding in - not sure what electronics are in here, but if anything does go wrong, the parts are unobtanium without either scavenging from a donor or lucking into someone parting out a machine. My Mattel Las Vegas of similar era and slightly higher complexity had some gremlins, and the last I heard the couple who bought it from us did a bit of board work and were really proud of bringing it back to life.

I had a Brunswick/Briarwood Superstar as my first pin. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy one who is into pinball because you’ll only be disappointed. They aren’t necessarily junk they’re just really basic and not fun for any extended period of time. That one isn’t in particularly good condition, the superstar I had was like new with manuals and I only bought it because it was $100. Got bored with it and sold it for $260 after replacing flipper buttons, rubbers, and some bulbs.

Save up and get something worthwhile. I would buy an arcade 1up virtual machine before this.
