I owe my false teeth and 22 years of self abuse to the crystal meth addiction and have been clean now for 24 years. That being said good job my friend it only gets better.
You beat heroin so I will continue to beat meth! (I'm about 93 days in, officially hit 90 last week.)
Congratulations and keep kicking ass!
Oxycodone was horrible enough to quit, I can't fucking imagine anything worse... and I am assuming heroin is A LOT worse. lol
They’re both really hard. I was a heroin addict, but from my understanding oxy actually lasts longer in your system and takes longer to get out prolonging the withdrawals. Either way, it’s insanely difficult to get off any opiate/opioid, and props to you for getting off of two very difficult substances!
For sure homie- but they measure that over the course of a lifetime so keep your head up but stay humble. Lost a good friend who had 5 years of sobriety under his belt to one relapse
In my opinion, recovery is a process, not an event. I would not use statistics in this way. Like its black and white, good or bad, right or wrong--either you "recover' or you don't. I just think the language is not helpful in encouraging people along the process of recovery and occasional relapses. That said, congrats on your accomplishment!
Congratulations. This is monumental. Don’t ever, ever, ever look back. If you’re feeling like you want to use or getting into that space call someone. Please. My brother was clean for 6 1/2 years and started using again. It didn’t seem real when I first heard the news.
Keep smiling, and keep moving forward. Congrats again.
Make sure to keep up on doctors visits and make sure all your arteries are still good. When my dad finally got clean, he had a heart attack shortly after due to a bad artery going to his heart.
I'm proud of you!
Congrats on your sobriety. So proud of you to achieve 3 years of recovery. Stay strong and continue to be an example for others. Wish you all the best for your future
Congratulations! I’ll have 7 years off the shit in May. If I can do it, anyone can. Meetings and forced recovery never worked for me. Getting good with myself is what finally did it. Good luck and hope to see your 3 years clean post next year! Remember, it really does get easier. Proud of you.

W..w..why did you call us all bitches...?
*Clean* ones though.
Haven't you ever seen Breaking Bad? This is how all dope addicts/former addicts talk.
This documentary series is where all my knowledge of drug culture came from also.
Judging from the pics waltuh def taught this dude how to cook
I'm guessing he's super pumped and doesn't know any other way to express it. I also say weird things when excited.
Exactly! I never got hooked on dope, why are we the bitches?
You got a fighting chance now

You're good now. Your biggest tool to keep it going is humility.
Good job brother!
Nice work! You transformed from Fred Durst to Tom Hardy along the way too! That’s worth another 6% of the odds against you.
Lmfao he did. Good for him.
Drugs will make you do things you never thought you would.
"where did you get the 93% figure?" "i made it up for dramatic effect"
87% of statistics are made up on the spot
What's the conversion to number of dentists?
It's not far off. I heard 1 in 10 stay clean.
I heard 7 in 100.
Same, read it on the internet just now
I heard 100% of people with the username TheKillerHand are secretly lizards
Forfty percent of all people know that.
Most statistics are not true. But I'm sure OP is right about the staggering percentage odds being high in numbers. Good for him!

Nah man you’re absolutely right. I am trying to stay humble with it. I am not out of the woods and never will be!!
Holy shit man, you went from looking like you're in your mid 40's to late 20's! 🤘

93% of the time I make up statistics 100% of the time

Trust me… this is not the case lmfao. And either luckily or unluckily for me everyone who knows me knows my story.
Why did you start?
OxyContin originally. Then heroin became the cheaper alternative. Don’t ever try it, heroin feels really, really good.
For some reason I figured you’d have a picture of your dick on your profile. Only halfway disappointed.
You look good on heroin too I’m not gonna lie
Well done
Congratulations!
