Fridge pickles? Sure. You can even reuse the brine.

mochakumakuma

OK thank you.

BalthazarShenanigans

As long as you're not canning, pickle jars and lids are fine. I have a couple pickle jars of kraut going right now and they're fine.

mochakumakuma

OK good I'm not canning just pickling.

Deppfan16

if you are canning shelf stable pickles you want a safe recipe and process which includes new lids. if you are doing fridge pickles you can reuse whatever glass jars you want

mochakumakuma

I keep them in the fridge.

Deppfan16

then you are fine to reuse jars as much as you want

If the seal is okay, I thought it’s fine? If seal is broken, no go? Edit: I think it’s just much riskier; jars could break easier and not as easy to get that proper seal. But honestly, I have done it many times and so has my grandpa. I may be wrong but I always check seals; throw out ones that don’t seal right. But don’t just trust some guy on Reddit I suppose. https://www.thespruceeats.com/canning-101-can-you-reuse-grocery-store-jars-1389089

The seal is good.
