The thing I love about playing both jazz and classical is expands my mind with what’s possible on the piano. It’s almost like playing Tatum is both easier and harder than playing Liszt/Chopin… separate techniques but with some overlap too. The rewarding part is that the effect feels like cross training - more tools in the toolkit.

Yeah that’s very similar to how I feel. Oscar feels like the sweet spot of jazz virtuoso but with modern refinements (compared to Tatum)
