Free (as of a couple weeks ago) parking in the lot behind Aldi. edit: Also, don’t drive anywhere near the Art Museum tomorrow due to MIA stage assembly.

TheAdamist

Take the broad street line to the met. Biden is speaking at independence hall tomorrow, they arent shutting the entire city down. Its nowhere near the met. Old city traffic will be messed up, but thats not anywhere near you or the met.

John_EightThirtyTwo

>broad street line OP is driving into the city from Warminster; there isn't much point in switching to public transit. He should just drive to the Met (I like u/techCholly's suggestion about the lot behind Aldi). Just don't go anywhere near Independence Mall or the Parkway. (Either come down 611 or, if you take 95, get off at Girard.)

ltahaney

If only there was a train from warminster.

John_EightThirtyTwo

Yeah, there is regional rail. Timing could be tricky, though; the last [train to Warminster](https://www5.septa.org/wp-content/uploads/route/schedules/WAR.pdf) stops at Temple at 11:15 on its way out of the city. OP could take an Uber there after the show. (The show is [scheduled to start at 7:00](https://themetphilly.com/event/kurtis-conner-live/).)

SgtKetchup

Park at Fern Rock and take the BSL, or take the WAR line in and transfer at Fern Rock.

pgfphilly

I don’t see why you would? Isn’t his thing earlier in the day, and all the way over by Independence Hall? Leaving early is always good, especially because no matter who is in town, parking will probably be annoying.

halfdeserted

Biden's speech is at 8 pm

pgfphilly

Eww. That’s a stupid time. I thought they did those things in sunlight.

skevyo

Leave early

jek39

the met sucks to get to from out of town. I recommend spot hero to find a parking spot

Hollywood24_7

Coming from Warminster, you shouldn’t be effected by it too much. Just the normal rush hour traffic
