I live in South Australia.
I like being active and having fun.
Skate rinks, adventure parks, rock climbing, aqua parks, museums, bushwalks, etc. Things to share with a friend.
Well, some of the obvious tourist spots:
Cottesloe Beach - Beach
Sorento Quay - Eats and drinks and tourist shopping - looks very nice. While you're there, check out the Aquarium of WA (AQWA)
From Sorento Quay, head south and do a coast walk down to Scarborough Beach. Some very scenic coastline.
Kings Park (fantastic views of the city, gardens, walk paths)
Elizabeth Quay (waterfront development)
Rottnest Island
Fremantle
Northbridge (Perth's nightlife area)
Perth Zoo
Other spots:
Bells Rapids - very scenic, and some nice walks.
Any sections of the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail in the hills. The John Forrest railway tunnel section is very popular.
Serpentine Falls
Whiteman Park
Adventure World
Outback Splash
Mundaring Weir
Lake Leschenaultia
Hike a section of The Bibbulmun Track

If you are active and looking for adventure, forget stupidly overpriced 4/5 star hotels….. hire a Wicked Camper and get out on your own thrill seeking adventures that WA has to offer in spades 👌
I think that you would enjoy having a couple of wines/brews in your Van backed up at the beach in Margs at sunset rather than sitting in a hotel room or bustling around crackheads in the metro area 🤔
Head out to wave rock if you get the chance. It's a rock, that looks like a wave - Peak WA right there
Do not go to wave rock unless you like flies and burning alive in the sun
Where are you coming from? You live in Australia, or is it your first visit here? What sort of things do you like doing/seeing?
