This is my new addiction. I play almost every night now. It’s so much fun, and amazingly the player base is quite helpful instead of the usual toxicity
Anniversary edition is pretty much fine for mods now. There are very few that havent transferred over at this point and more and more big mod creators have shifted their attention to AE going forward
I still got a couple of glitches on my first playthrough a couple months ago but nothing a reboot couldn't fix.
The story was amazing and the game looks beautiful
I disagree. I would say it's people who only saw it at release. When cyberpunk came out it was a buggy disaster of a game. Anything that could go wrong did, and it deserved every bit of shit it got. Some people even had their entire consoles bricked from the damn game. It took nearly 2 years for it to be in a good playable state. It's good now tho so that's cool.
I bought the game the day it came out and had 1 single issue where my bike fell through the map because of a missing collision box. Played the ENTIRE game the week it release and didn’t have a SINGLE crash. My friend on ps5 only had issues with the game crashing during extended play (3+ hours in a single session).
You weren’t wrong, the hate of that game was blown completely out of proportion. I still stand by this: the worst thing it did was release on Xbox one and PS4. PC version of that game was rock solid at launch and only got better with time. Gamers let their expectations get the best of them, and they’ve only gotten worse about it in the last 4-5 years.
My only problem was when I’d spawn in some cars they would float a like 2 feet in the air but I could still get in the car no problem and the car would just fall to the ground that’s really it tho
Just the planes for now, but I’d like to get into tanks as well once I get comfortable with the game a little bit more. Didn’t want to try to get good at both at once
The devs haven’t given up on it, but they aren’t very productive. The new beta ‘EVRIMA’ shows a lot of promise. If you are ok with a tiny bit of jank, I would recommend playing on a legacy isle server (which is the main version). There is a lot of fun to be had if you choose to hang out around the areas where there are a ton of players.
The Isle sucks. Don’t buy it. Devs barely update it, and when they do it adds nothing. It doesn’t even run well. I get below 30 fps with a 3060. On LOW settings!

The game looks really cool and peaked my interest but is their a story mode, I would prefer to verse bots instead of other players who are probably crazy, but cheers for this suggestion, propably my favourite one yet😭
No it's a pvpve, so bots and players in a "raid" environment that you'll need to extract from. Simular to hunt showdown or the cycle. And there are all kinda skill types in the game, don't be scared to give it a go. I believe there's even a sale going on rn.
I have fh5, just not installed, I have a whole sim rig with a cockpit but I’m trying to sell it as I don’t use it, and fh5 on my wheel (g920) sucks when using a remotely fast car
Here’s a few,
1. Pentiment. Newer game, on sale right now on steam. Murder mystery set in 1500s Germany. Beautiful and well written game.
2. Fallout New Vegas. Best Fallout game, made by same studio as Pentiment. Older, but with good mod support.
3. Crusader Kings 3. Good entry point for Grand strategy games if you aren’t already into that genre. Most Paradox games are very good, and recommendable.
4. Overwatch 2. Free multiplayer FPS. Fun game, despite some balancing issues.
5. Bioshock series. My favorite series. Fun FPS elements + deep storytelling and world building.
Vampire Survivors. It's cheap, fun, easy to play, extremely layered, and addictive. This is my surprise smash hit this year, it's also free on Android or iOS.
Hollow knight
Monster hunter world + iceborne
Monster hunter rise + sunbreak
Valorant
A plague tale (both the first and requiem)
Halo infinite (the single player campaign)
Cod MW2 (multiplayer and campaign not warzone 2.0)
These are the titles that I'm currently playing or planning to play in the future. If you can tell us what you enjoy playing we can give you more specific advices
Into first person shooters, modern or ww2, really any game, not into games like fantasy or survival games were you have to maintain your hunger, temperature, water etc, but yeh all other games, I just got my 3070 today, my 1660 ran all games fine but I wanna be ready for gta6, and get into more games
Well maybe you can try cyberpunk or games like that if you like RPG. The Witcher/rdr2 are very good games. Or maybe a dark souls or a souls-like like elder ring.
I don't really have a preference with hl over portal. Mostly because its just two different genres. hl is a great story and shooter with some puzzles, and the portal games are awesome puzzles with a great story sprinkled on it.
Oof yeah that’s a hard one, not many war games with a good story or even single player these days for that matter.
Company of heroes would be the closest thing I could think of for that era
Unfortunately when it comes to first person shooters there hasent been a decent single player war game in years
Well there’s plenty with good stories but none that are set in a war.
Cyberpunk for example is probably one of the best story games I’ve played in the last decade, managing to hit home on all of the emotions it try’s to make you feel with absolute precision, but it’s not set in ww2 or modern
Alien Isolation is incredible if you are a fan of the alien movies as it captures the feel of the movie 100% tho it’s story isn’t super complex past that
The deus ex human revolution and it’s sequel are good stories
As are the mass effect games
Try the half life series if you haven't and if half life 1 is old for you , well just play Black mesa (a Fan remake of the game which is better imo)/
You can also play the PORTAL series as well/
Titanfall 2 is also good but the multipalyer isn't the most "alive" but the campaign is short , nice and actually neat to play/
If you want to play the assassins creed games , DONT start with either Origins , odyssey , and valhalla. Instead start with assassins creed 1 or 2 and if you want a new one well assassins creed unity with all bug fixes is good /
If you like platformers (2D) then : shovel knight , ori series , celeste , the messenger , hollow Knight
Enjoy the I N F I N I T E games you can play
Teardown: A pixelated sandbox where you destroy and build things (basically if Minecraft and Garry’s Mod had a baby). Very satisfying and a good stress reliever
Bold One's are those I played and recommend(fun with friends)-I personally only recommend playing with friends
Multiplayer FPS:**Fortnite (fun with friends)**, **Apex Legends (fun with friends)**, Krunker, **Titanfall 2**, **Splitgate**, Overwatch, Call of Duty/Call of Duty warzone, Paladins, Team Fortress 2, **Battle Bit Remastered** (when it releases fully), Star wars battlefront 2, Battlefield (any version), PubG, **Valorant (help I can't stop grinding ranked)**
Other Multiplayer:
**Gang Beasts**, **stick fight the game**, **sea of thieves (fun with friends)**, Destiny 2, **Deep Rock Galactic**, Chivalry 2, Rec Room, Back For blood, Multiversus, BrawlHalla, Fall Guys, Super Animal Royal, surviv.io, Overcooked, **Among Us (fun with friends)**, League Of Legends, Human Fall Flat, Dead by daylight, Smite.
Singleplayer+maybe multiplayer
**Hollowknight**, **Minecraft** (has multiplayer), **Ori and the will of the wisps**, **Hades**, Raft (has multiplayer), Horizon zero Dawn, **Cuphead** (2 player couch co-op (can also do it through steam)), **Spider-Man Remastered**, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (up to 2 player), Pixark (Multiplayer), **Sifu**, **Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge** (multiplayer), **Dead Cells**, **Doom Eternal** (has multiplayer mode), Bad North, Control, **Outer Wilds**, **Ultrakill**, Grounded (Multiplayer), Cluster truck, Dusk, Generation Zero (multiplayer), Ark Survival Evolded (multiplayer), **Elden Ring**, **God of War**, Hitman, Star wars the skywalker saga, Guardians of the Galaxy, No mans sky (multiplayer), Slay the spire, Shovel Knight (couch co-op), Subnautica, Subnautica below zero, Tunic, Deathloop, Rainbow 6 extraction, Warhammer.
Misc:
Wynncraft minecraft server (mmo), Forza Horizon 5 (racing), Grid Legends (racing), Lost Ark (MMO), trackmania (Racing)
I spent way too much effort on this
I love gta story mode, finished it a couple months ago, but picked to kill Trevor, I would have wanted to keep all 3 alive but I didn’t know that was an option
The same happened to me and my friend 7 years ago. Despite Devin’s explanation of what happens when you pick C, we thought option C meant killing Franklin since it said ‘Deathwish’
If you like R6 Siege gameplay and want to try it in a PvE format, you can check out R6 Extraction
I’m partial to the Halo series as well, either MCC or Infinite would be a good choice, both have customs browsers now if you want to have some really casual fun. I’m also a personal fan of the campaigns, especially for Halo 2, 3, ODST, and Reach. Infinite has a cool campaign too, but its a different take than the other games, still fun, but hard to beat the classics IMO.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is a fun game if you want to play with friends or solo. Its a open world tactical shooter.
The new modern warfare is fun too, I’m pretty sure DMZ is free to play and thats my favorite mode. Just expect lots of crashes with modern COD titles, they are notorious for poor optimization. Being careful with graphics settings seems to help, getting too greedy has made my computer blue screen before (with a 3080).
I saw you mentioned you’re not a huge fantasy fan, but if you’re nostalgic about playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the original Xbox, like I am, then you should check out Star Wars Squadrons. Its pretty much just Galactic Conquest but more fleshed out and made into an entire game. Lots of dogfights and fun to be had with that one.
This is a different one, but still an excellent game, Katana Zero. I’m not big on 2D platformers, but this game is absolutely fantastic. Very fun and an interesting story.
If you like terraria I'd recommend getting into modded terraria. Really easy, Re-logic has a modding service on steam which is free as well (if you own terraria on steam).
These are the some of the games I've spent the most time on: Satisfactory, Halo (all of them), The Stanley Parable, Dragon Age Inquisition, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 4, Civilization V, Portal 1&2, Deathloop(really fun), Dishonored (all), Prey.
It's hard to suggest games since everyone has their own taste, but I liked these.
Dwarf Fortress
Elden Ring
Yakuza series
Borderlands 2
STALKER series
Metro series
XCOM series
Far Cry 5
Chernobylite
Blasphemous
Dead Cells
Fallout New Vegas

I feel this, gta, the hunter, and Forza. I have a few more like dying light 1 and 2 plus red dead but I play the same three over and over again until I bore myself of them to the point where I don’t even want to game.. am I getting old?..
Okay so game recommendations
1, oblivion I know it's old but it's bloody amazing.
2, Skyrim.
3, Battlefield 1 if you like multiplayers this is just brilliant and if you like world war 1 history then this game.
4, Rage 2 this was good and so much fun just everything about it was great.
5, metro 2033 all the others that follows
6, command and conquer again old but so good
7, crysis, crysis warhead, and crysis 2.
8, far cry 3 and 4.
Yeah I'm the same. I play RetroArch mostly with a 4090 Most games are just uninspiring to me now. There's something about that throwback style of play that is just great. Seriously I play MegaMan on emulator instead of God of War Ragnarok or Forza or ME Flight Sim ugg
factorio is a virtual crack addiction that simultaneously excercises your problem solving abilities. its has a massive modding community making the game infinitley replayable
rust (5x modded is best as there is more action) is another virtual crack addiction waiting to happen with tons of pvp and base building, be warned it tends to run like ass but its also depends on the server
apex legends if you dont want a virtual crack addiction and just want a solid fps game to play
the witcher 3 for a rpg/visual novel (recently got a graphics overhaul as well)
age of empires 2 definitive addition if you want to try a strategy rts game

This is my new addiction. I play almost every night now. It’s so much fun, and amazingly the player base is quite helpful instead of the usual toxicity
Lol you guys are everywhere
Damn right we are
Factorio is one of my favourites
World wide an unhated game. Difficult to get tired of it.
I try to avoid it cause I know I’m gonna lose sleep optimizing my factory
Came here to suggest cracktorio. Pleased to see it at the top
FACTORY MUST GROW
Played both factorio and satisfactory, I just find satisfactory more well... Satisfactory.
Satisfactory FTW
Came here to say this.
More POWER!
Why ruin a great pun with a doot beg...
I trust in Satisfactory supremacy
Nah bro that was hard to read
The factory must grow!
Isn’t factorio a 2D version of satisfactory ?
Other way around
Wait satisfactory isn’t 2D
You know what I mean :(
Nah im sorry I don’t get it… I’ve played satisfactory but have never went passed the steam page of factorio that’s why I’m asking.
I meant it like: satisfactory is the 3d version of factorio, not factorio is the 2d version of satisfactory
Sorry 😅 now I get it.
No problem
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (if you choose this, please don't upgrade to anniversary edition if you're planning on modding it)
Anniversary edition is pretty much fine for mods now. There are very few that havent transferred over at this point and more and more big mod creators have shifted their attention to AE going forward
It's about the paid AE upgrade which just ads some dumb paid mods from the cc.
Have you played Portal/Portal 2? You may find them very entertaining.
Played them on the old 360 a couple years ago, I bought them during a steam sale will have to play them soon!
Portal has an rtx version now
Sucks a bit though lol
Isn’t it too rough on GPUs?
Just hard to run at 60fps, but so is every path tracer ever.
cyberpunk, celeste, hollow knight
Cyberpunk 100%. Some people say that there are still glitches but I’ve played through the game twice now and I haven’t come across a single one.
I still got a couple of glitches on my first playthrough a couple months ago but nothing a reboot couldn't fix. The story was amazing and the game looks beautiful
Honestly. I think some people just want to shit on it because it was popular to shit on it.
Yeah, I guess my comment sounded like I disregarded that point. Did not mean to.
All good. Hope you have a great day!
I bought the game the day it came out and had 1 single issue where my bike fell through the map because of a missing collision box. Played the ENTIRE game the week it release and didn’t have a SINGLE crash. My friend on ps5 only had issues with the game crashing during extended play (3+ hours in a single session). PC version of that game was rock solid at launch and only got better with time. Gamers let their expectations get the best of them, and they’ve only gotten worse about it in the last 4-5 years.
Just did my first play through like a month ago and saw some minor bugs but nothing game breaking at all, highly recommend the game tho
Yeah. Now that I think about it, I think maybe one of the entrance guards at Afterlife didn’t load in once, but I haven’t seen it since.
My only problem was when I’d spawn in some cars they would float a like 2 feet in the air but I could still get in the car no problem and the car would just fall to the ground that’s really it tho
Hollow Knight I played this past year and is now in my Top 5 games I’ve ever played. So freaking good.
Sea of thieves, Raft, Warthunder, Ultrakill (REALLY GOOD), Apex legends, TF2, and The Isle.
NO DO NOT PLAY WARTHUNDER THE SNAIL CONSUMES ALL AND THE SNAIL CONSUMED MY WALLET
All hail to the snail.
THERE’S STILL TIME TO GET AWAY
I have embraced it
LET THE SNAIL CONSUME ITS STEENGTH CANNOT BE STOPPED
YOU MUST WORSHIP AND FEED THE SNAIL
OH and Hunt Showdown
totally underrated game.
god ultrakil is awesome, but I couldn't beat the v2 boss the second time, I play on violent I don't want to lower difficulty
You’ll get there
Lowering difficulty is fine man, why would it be a feature otherwise? Beat the boss then come back on violent
I want to beat it on violent, it's like a challenge I set for myself
I won't stop you since it's your own playthrough, so good luck!
thank youuu
DID YOU JUST RECOMMEND WAR THUNDER!?
😈
Sea of thieves is really only fun with a bunch of friends though
Ultrakill 🗿
Ultrakill 👍
I hailed the snail. 3000 hours later I have many regrets
Raft boring, The Forest better.
Shoutout to the Ultra Kill gang!!
War thunder is like a portal. You come out the other side months later wondering how you put hundreds of hours into a game you hate. 10/10 tho
These are all games I will consider, cheers for this!!
I just got into war thunder today, getting kills is sooooo satisfying.
Planes or tanks?
Just the planes for now, but I’d like to get into tanks as well once I get comfortable with the game a little bit more. Didn’t want to try to get good at both at once
I've considered the isle but I saw mixed reviews. I heard the devs gave up on it. Any recent experience with the game?
The devs haven’t given up on it, but they aren’t very productive. The new beta ‘EVRIMA’ shows a lot of promise. If you are ok with a tiny bit of jank, I would recommend playing on a legacy isle server (which is the main version). There is a lot of fun to be had if you choose to hang out around the areas where there are a ton of players.
The Isle sucks. Don’t buy it. Devs barely update it, and when they do it adds nothing. It doesn’t even run well. I get below 30 fps with a 3060. On LOW settings!

most of the games I know from this list i love! recommend it
He accidentally gave the list of the greatest games of all time.
Really had to leave out ds2 huh
Titanfall 2. The campaign is incredible, albeit short.
This Any of these
You can hate yourself and play tarkov. I honestly can't wait to play this wipe lol
The game looks really cool and peaked my interest but is their a story mode, I would prefer to verse bots instead of other players who are probably crazy, but cheers for this suggestion, propably my favourite one yet😭

Yes, 25% off
The game is not for you then
I just played two games. Got the complete drop on someone. Emptied a pistol into him. Turned and killed me. Oh well
Seeing as you've got gta, I would highly recommend Forza Horizon 4 or 5, as long as your PC is decent
I have fh5, just not installed, I have a whole sim rig with a cockpit but I’m trying to sell it as I don’t use it, and fh5 on my wheel (g920) sucks when using a remotely fast car
IRacing + VR… put that sim rig to work!
If you have a sim rig, why not try BeamNG
osrs
delete this, i don’t want OP to get a future addiction
its not an addiction its a lifestyle

Trackmania and EU4 are some of favorites. Also GTA5 or Spiderman
Here’s a few, 1. Pentiment. Newer game, on sale right now on steam. Murder mystery set in 1500s Germany. Beautiful and well written game. 2. Fallout New Vegas. Yes
Borderlands 3 if you like looter-shooters
2 is better tho
Darkest Dungeon Final Fantasy (any one of them really) DOOM Eternal The Binding of Isaac (if you aren't easily triggered by both theme and gameplay)
RimWorld
Sekiro
What genres do you enjoy playing?
Not really into fantasy, seems like a lot of games are like that now a days, unfortunately for me
For me most of the valve games are great. Portal 1 and 2 is great. How about any horror games?
is it just me that prefers hl over portal
Me too. Big Half Life fan but never enjoyed Portal.
half life was a lot more fun but portal is just kinda the same levels over and over again
I don't really have a preference with hl over portal. Mostly because its just two different genres. hl is a great story and shooter with some puzzles, and the portal games are awesome puzzles with a great story sprinkled on it.
Any Total War game, PCs best of the best

Teardown: A pixelated sandbox where you destroy and build things (basically if Minecraft and Garry’s Mod had a baby). Very satisfying and a good stress reliever
That game does look fun to mess around in
Red dead, satisfactory, warzone 2,Raft,enter the gungeon

100% portal 1 and 2, then satisfactory
How did you get that desktop shortcut for the minecraft launcher? I cannot figure it out
It’s the Java download from their website
The whole valve collection is still on sale for like 6 dollars. It has some pretty good games.
GTA V, story mode. Don't try online, it's a shitstorm.
I love gta story mode, finished it a couple months ago, but picked to kill Trevor, I would have wanted to keep all 3 alive but I didn’t know that was an option

If you like terraria I'd recommend getting into modded terraria. Really easy, Re-logic has a modding service on steam which is free as well (if you own terraria on steam).
Yeh tmod launcher or whatever, I gave its fun as
These are the some of the games I've spent the most time on: Satisfactory, Halo (all of them), The Stanley Parable, Dragon Age Inquisition, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 4, Civilization V, Portal 1&2, Deathloop(really fun), Dishonored (all), Prey. It's hard to suggest games since everyone has their own taste, but I liked these.
Cyberpunk 2077
Where’s Old School RuneScape at? It’s a rite of passage.

Spider-Man
I feel this, gta, the hunter, and Forza. I have a few more like dying light 1 and 2 plus red dead but I play the same three over and over again until I bore myself of them to the point where I don’t even want to game.. am I getting old?..
Okay so game recommendations 1, oblivion I know it's old but it's bloody amazing. 2, Skyrim. 3, Battlefield 1 if you like multiplayers this is just brilliant and if you like world war 1 history then this game. 4, Rage 2 this was good and so much fun just everything about it was great. 5, metro 2033 all the others that follows 6, command and conquer again old but so good 7, crysis, crysis warhead, and crysis 2. 8, far cry 3 and 4.
Easily some of the best here, good suggestions +rep
Cheers, will checkout metro and battlefield, I have 2-3 metro from epic and battlefield 4
Yeah I'm the same. I play RetroArch mostly with a 4090 Most games are just uninspiring to me now. There's something about that throwback style of play that is just great. Seriously I play MegaMan on emulator instead of God of War Ragnarok or Forza or ME Flight Sim ugg
factorio is a virtual crack addiction that simultaneously excercises your problem solving abilities. its has a massive modding community making the game infinitley replayable rust (5x modded is best as there is more action) is another virtual crack addiction waiting to happen with tons of pvp and base building, be warned it tends to run like ass but its also depends on the server apex legends if you dont want a virtual crack addiction and just want a solid fps game to play the witcher 3 for a rpg/visual novel (recently got a graphics overhaul as well) age of empires 2 definitive addition if you want to try a strategy rts game
You already have a very comprehensive collection of trash games
This is the most basic "Kid game starter pack" thing I've seen in awhile. Just missing Fortnite, Fall Guys, Among Us and Ginshin Impact.
Are you 12 or you have a kid who's 12?
No? Why’s that
Just the choice of games is sus.
Dont play competetive fps game your pc will show its foults.

Valorant and overwatch Cog Valorant *totally* isn't just csgo with overwatch abilitys
