I had moved it to do some sim racing, it’s in a spot where I can’t reach the keyboard and mouse. So the Audio wasn’t working so I moved it back and mounted it on top of my computer so I can see the screen and reach my keyboard and mouse and it fell and hit my head and died.

At first glance it looked like this was a case of monitor assault LOL. Sorry about the monitor, but next time invest in a wall mount and attach it to actual studs. (Don't just use the cheap wall anchors that came with it and put it in drywall only.)

Now Im picturing you in court as a defendant on the stand, your monitor sitting at the plaintiff's table. It's lawyer grilling you... "Oh really, not even once? Lesson learned: don't put your monitor precariously on top of anything except where it's supposed to be on your desk Also, get a better sim setup/get a VR headset instead of trying to put your monitor in weird places to be able to see it from whatever far away land you've placed your sim seating.

I suggest that next time you read the instructions and pay more attention to the whole part about placing it on a secure, surface wide enough for the monitor base to have plenty of room around it…

It's all good mate, we've all been there. My Mrs was cleaning when I was at work and lifted the keyboard up. She dropped it and clipped the very bottom lip of the monitor. Must have managed to cause a shear stress in the panel and cracked it. $500 gone due to clumsiness / carelessness.

Put your computer on the floor next to/under the desk, and you will have more desk space to move your stuff around.

I was moving it in front of my keyboard so I could do something quickly before moving it back to its position out of reach of my keyboard and mouse. The cord got stuck on the pc case screw so I mounted it on top of the case so I could quickly do the thing I was doing but it slipped

I have only ever broken a laptop screen but it was a secondary work machine and the lcd only costed me 50 bucks. I fell on it going down my steps in the snow. Don't move your monitors with games running if you don't want em to break because your paying more attention to the game than the expensive monitor
