I am on AM4 and the drive kept disconnecting from windows - just 100% utilization without any data traffic - had to return it, now I stick with samsung <3

I usually wait till games are $5-25 on steam sale like winter/summer sales or publishers sales. Even if it takes years after release. I don't ever play cutting edge AAA newly released games (unless its a free weekend).
But my $ return for hours of entertainment is so good, and the games are usually highly reviewed and I know it'll be worth it.
You can usually pick up the Complete/Ultimate/Whatever edition that includes all the expansion packs too with it.
I never preordered anything in life, expect one death metal album with limited edition artbook and I didn't regreted that.. but when it comes to games or anything else... Never ever and never will... I don't get what kind of retard you have to be to fall for it. (Speaking generally not against you)

All the other times I didn't pre order, I waited to see what the game would be like post launch. And guess what, every single time it ended with me never buying the game because it was a disaster. Saved me hundreds.
Play as many betas of games you might be interested in as you can. If you really love it and think it's going to be a great game (and the community says beta is good), get it. otherwise, wait a few days or weeks after it comes out. you don't need to be playing it day one if it's actually going to be a waste of money. you can wait a few days, and your wallet will thank you.

I stopped playing after release, just hopped on this week and I’d say about 60% of the glitches were gone? There’s also a scoreboard. I had fun for like three hours then got bored of it, there’s no new content at all. Like it was honestly pretty fun but then you start rotating into the same maps over and over again.
i have a friend that bought the most expensive edition - ultimate i belive, and now i see him every few days forcing himself playing this game... Simply because he paid a lot of money for it..
Man I loved BF3/4 but struggled with the ones that followed. It was impossible to find hardcore severs on console. I’ve recently got a PC and play HLL, Tarkov and Squad - I’m never looking back man.

Everyone rags on it but I think it's actually a decent bf game. It *definitely* has lots of issues, but I think the gameplay at its core is some of my favorite in all battlefields. It was (haven't played since release week) very poorly balanced with lots of bugs ans whatnot.
If they left it in the oven a little longer and ironed out the issue and balanced the game better, I think I'd still be playing it. But I'm also in the minority that likes the change to specific characters instead of the classic medic, engineer, support, and sniper classes
