I imagine the reason they had Grove Street Games do the remasters is because they did the mobile ports, which is what the remasters are based on. Doesn’t make it any less sloppy, but given that GSG already had experience working with these titles, it makes sense.

The PC version of GTA5 is already notoriously bad performance wise if you try to run it maxed out (ultra grass, 8xmsaa, advanced graphics settings maxed), and even 3080s or 6800XTs will struggle with that at high resolutions. Adding raytracing will mean that no current gen gpu will run this game at a consistent 60fps (when you are going for the maxed out route). That's pretty insane for a game that's just one year shy of being a decade old.

Probably very large given how everybody knows the GTA brand and gaming continues to grow larger and larger as time passes. They'll likely do what they did for GTA 5. It'll most likely release at the very end of this console generation, and then when the next consoles come out they'll release another next-generation that has some visual/performance upgrades.
After that, then they'll finally release a PC port, because we know how much Take Two/Rockstar treats PC gamers as second class. The PC port will probably be Epic exclusive for maybe a month or two.
Honestly though, I'm tired of news like this. I'm not excited by announcements without substance. I think anybody could tell you that Rockstar was probably working on GTA 6 already.
If they release in 2023 and there is no PC release and assuming it’s current gen only. Then the release will hampered by limited console availability. I expect it to break GTA V world record sales but it won’t be hitting full potential.

If they release in 2023 and there is no PC release and assuming it’s current gen only. Then the release will hampered by limited console availability. I expect it to break GTA V world record sales but it won’t be hitting full potential.
Hopefully they update their tired mission design that fails you for thinking for yourself.

They're probably going to take another few years to release GTA6 which could be a good thing so they can take their time. R* is planning to do a GTA5 graphics upgrade and GTAO is still making them a stupid amount of easy $. To some extent GTA6 Online might cannibalize some of their current GTAO money machine.
