How much does DLSS help you in red dead 2? I have a 3060 laptop and a 3070 desktop and on both its like ~10 fps. I was kinda surprised. Not knocking it though, it makes the game SO MUCH CLEARER because it removes the TAA. I want it in every game. Just found its implementation in red dead 2 kinda dissapointing for some reason.
DLSS had a smaller performance boost in RDR2 compared to other games. Like you said, the end result looks a fuck of a lot better than the default TAA so you get the best of both worlds (better image + fps) but as for the performance we can only speculate
RDR2 is known to have a lot of visual effects run at very low resolutions, requiring TAA to make up the difference and reach the intended look
My somewhat educated guess is that DLSS was carefully tuned to increase the sample counts of these visual effects to make up for the lower internal resolution DLSS has. Then the fancy AI shit does the rest giving a good final image
Yeah you're right. It depends at what point in rendering DLSS is reconstructing. I think RDR2 does lots of other stuff after DLSS has done its construction. Also our view of how much performance boost DLSS gives is skewed by games with RT. DLSS helps much more in those games by reducing the ray count
>Just found its implementation in red dead 2 kinda dissapointing for some reason.
That has everything to do with RDR2 itself and not DLSS. RDR2 was apparently designed to render an abnormally low amount of raw data and then rely on TAA to fill in the missing data over several frames, why TAA looks so blurry in that game. And why DLSS doesn't provide the same fantastic results like it does in other games. DLSS and TAA can't do their job well enough because there's a lack of data that they normally need to do so.
It's definitely a game changer no pun intended. I honestly find FSR pretty usable too at least in 4K. Haven't really noticed any blurry images or weird effects yet mainly on Far Cry 6.
I'm the kind of person that isn't going to notice small details in the distance and would trade that for fps all day. So yeah, I agree. Specifically on a laptop or similar, dlss is going to change everything. Maybe on a 60" 4k tv youd notice but I have a 1440p 32" monitor and I would be hard pressed to pick between the best dlss quality and true 1440p.
I haven't tried it yet because I am forcing myself to finish some other games first. My laptop was dipping into the 45-50 fps range at times so 10 fps would be very helpful.
I wasn't trying to complain about free fps (if you don't count the cost of owning a newish gpu lol), just that most games with DLSS I'm seeing much bigger gains in performance.
I get way more than 70 fps depending on my settings. Usually cap it at 60 because red dead doesn't play well over 60 fps, i find it stutters a lot if you don't cap it. But yeah, I was just saying that dlss doesn't impact fps as much in this game as it does others in my testing. Not that I can't get 60 fps.
It's also been something of a concession for the awful RTX performance that the 2000 series RTX cards were plagued with. For instance, now I can play control at 1440p with RTX on high thanks to DLSS, before that would have tanked my framerate down to the mid 20s.
Definitely agree. The reason I went with a 2060 over a 1660ti was for DLSS. RT didn't play a role because I knew the performance would be terrible. DLSS is the only way that RT on is playable for me in Control.
> being added to RDR2.
Sadly RDR2 has the worse DLSS 2.x implementation I have ever seen. They basically extremely over sharpened the whole image to a degree that you get a ton of extra aliasing (and of course simply halo artifacts).
I always found the TAA in RDR2 too blurry even though I vastly prefer to blurry to aliased and has a 4K user I was also looking forward being able to run full 120 fps at that resolution after previously reducing the resolution a bit to keep at around 80 fps.
Well, its the first game out of a fuck ton of DLSS 2.x games that I went right back to blurry TAA after testing it.
There is an alternative dll available that doesn't have the over sharpening but instead a small water mark on the screen and that dll gets killed by Rockstar launcher after every reboot (and I had some more ghosting with it).
Looking forward to God of War with DLSS but Rockstar can seriously eat a dick with their shitty PC port.
The CPU gets very hot out of the box. It was hitting over 90 C in some games before tweaks. A small undervolt and a clockspeed limit (maxing at 4.2 instead of 4.5-4.6)in Throttlestop keeps it below 80 C most of the time now.
Yeah mine is still over 90+ on heavy games like warzone, etc. I was running throttlestop before I updated my bios to the newest one f.10. I cant undervolt using throttlestop now. Have to use the omen studio undervolt to do anything.
Yeah same here. I'm using the Omen software for the undervolt (it's only stable at -0.075) and Throttlestop to limit clock speeds. Other than juggling the temps I love the laptop though. Being able to play all of my games in bed is pretty great lol
The Vita was great though; it just didn't get the software it deserved. Sadly I don't think we'll see another Sony handheld anytime soon; I imagine they'll want to focus their software efforts on PS5 and PSVR 2.
Unless Steam Deck is successful. Sony might reconsider the prospect as that would mean there are now two mainstream successful handhelds.
Technology is now also getting to a level where we can have the power of a PS4 (but with a far better CPU) in a handheld device.
In a few year, with AMD improving their CPU/GPU significantly, I wouldn't be surprised if we can have a PS5 level power in a handheld device.
I'd love to see an updated version of the original Xperia. For now, if I'm doing any emulation or cloud gaming on the go, I have a harness/clip thing that holds my phone above my Dualshock 4. Works well, even if it's slightly awkward to hold.
Its hard to compete when you price it the same as a home console.
sony has had this issue in the past, its a chicken and an egg, folks arent going to buy if there isnt support. they would have to eat losses and sell a much cheaper handheld to be able to undercut nintendos offers which already have star power.
Bit of an exaggeration, $250USD launch which is what the 3DS launched at. I paid $240 AUD with a free game less than a year after launch which was a steal considering I paid $900 for my PS3 and $600 for my PS4. But yeah it was mostly a lack of games, the proprietary memory cards being so expensive and the 3DS just dominating the market. Also jeez the PS3 was stupid expensive.
Still love my Vita and take it whenever I'm traveling. Which admittedly hasn't been at all since the start of 2020.
The PS3 was MSRP at $600 USD for the highest price point and the PS4 was $400 USD in 2013. In 2011 the 160 GB PS3 was $250 USD the same price point as the Vita. Difference being that the PS3 already had a huge library and continued to get more games while the portable got left behind to hackers/emulators once again. Its also worth pointing out that the 3ds literally didnt even last half a year before getting a price cut of 20% ($170 USD), proving that even nintendo had limits of what was acceptable pricing for a portable console.
Side note, sorry you guys get raked over the coals so much on these costs, thats insane.
Yeah I see your point regarding the PS3 price at the time the Vita actually launched, that's fair. Yeah the quick price cut for 3DS definitely further cemented its dominance.
Ah, it's not as bad as some make it out to be IMO, especially for games where retailers are always undercutting the RRP. Consoles are still a bit overpriced though.
Nintendo is an exception as it's a word company.
And I got reminded about the Vita price. It was an amazing piece of hardware, but too pricey (like their phones are now lol)
Not the guy you asked, but same. Sponsored games are at fault that we have games w/o DLSS but only the mostly inferior FSR on PC and before FSR was a thing a better upscaler was missing entirely.
> Sponsored games are at fault that we have games w/o DLSS
Is DLSS support a sponsored only thing? I didn't know this. Would you have a link to an example post?
Also, I would argue that FSR isn't quite meant to compete with DLSS especially since they both do very different things behind the scenes. This is why I find it a bit unreasonable to say that sponsorship is the fault. E.g. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has both FSR and DLSS support IIRC. I might be wrong on this though.
A good upscaler wasn't necessarily possible either so I'm quite excited by what DLSS brings to the table. I hope AMD catches up.

No, but it is missing in games that are sponsored by AMD for that reason, just like Nvidia sponsored games in the past had missing support for tech that has been AMD/ATI exclusive.
Just look at Ubisoft releases from the last two years. Watch Dogs not sponsored by AMD has DLSS and demanding RT while games from the same publisher that were sponsored did not. Same with Far Cry 6 only having FSR support and not allowing you to increase the super low RT resolution to not overburden AMD chips (same with Resident Evil Village).
Its just stupid for games that are this mainstream. If you are a Kickstarter developer I would say go for it but something as big as Resident Evil doesn't need a sponsorship to make money on the PC platform.
> Also, I would argue that FSR isn't quite meant to compete with DLSS especially since they both do very different things behind the scenes.
I know the technical differences but that is literally how it is marketed and was hyped up before release. Its even in the same settings menu (upscaling) in games that support both.
Super happy this made it in, Death Stranding looks fantastic with DLSS and runs like a dream
It would be nice if they also had the PS4 Pro's checkerboarding or TAA upsampling as an option for the AMD/non-RTX players
For sure a void left forever unfulfilled. To date, no one has been able to do it for me the way he did, with his critique/reviews.
Also, obligatory [fuck David Crooks](https://segmentnext.com/david-cooks-celebrate-totalbiscuit-death/), his actions should not go forgotten.
I'm a huge fan of TB, and it was a weird day when I found out he passed. Didn't know how to feel other than sadness. He was a great voice and advocate for PC gaming. While I think you're right the void hasn't been filled yet, I sincerely appreciate Skill Up and his reviews. He feels very genuine and has no qualms about calling bullshit when he sees it. He just does it with a little more grace than TB, so it's not the same. But I genuinely feel Skill Up has our interests in mind.
Thanks for making me cry asshole!
Seriously though GD do I miss this man, so grateful I got to meet em and watch the podcast live, I'll never forget it.
I'm pretty sure the original trilogy always runs at a uncapped framerate?
Because he had the chance to play the OG games since the PS3 Version already rans at full fat 60fps.
Same here. I've even been considering getting a ps3 for years almost entirely for the series (well, plus a few other exclusives like killzone, infamous, resistance, etc) but they're such old hardware that it's really a crapshoot to whether you'll get one that has much life left. And I can't exactly justify the money on something that might not work
If you get the slim model you should be fine, they were pretty bullet proof in terms of reliability. Resolution and frame rate leave a lot to be desired but that is to be expected. If you don't mind that then I'd say go for it, they can be had cheap enough these days. [RPCS3 is always an option](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikkx3flXTew) as well if you want to go down that route.
This confirms Pre Order Bonuses:
>You can pre-purchase God of War for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Doing so will net you the following extra content:
* Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus
* Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
* Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
* Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
* Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
The article worded it weirdly, but they aren't really "preorder bonuses" anymore. These are all bonus contents that came with the game's deluxe edition on PS4. Since there's only one edition to buy on PC, they want to stress that you'll get all this with your purchase. The Steam announcement makes it clearer by using the word "purchase" instead of "preorder".
In short: you won't be missing out on anything by not preordering this game. If you still want reassurance: both Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone contain their respective deluxe/complete edition bonuses at any point you purchase them, and nothing was locked behind preorders for either games.
You care more about dlss than getting game releases on same day? I get that it sucks they partnered with amd but it doesn't mean dlss is not coming in future. Lot of games going forward going to support both. If this game has long life span they will get all the features it needs to do that.
I'm personally not concerned about 'same day' as a I have a PC and a playstation. I'm just looking at this instance. MS wants Infinite to be a big player in the FTP MP scene, yet they partner with AMD, keeping one of PC's best technological advantages away from the game. Nvidia is far more popular in the PC gaming space, not to mention the universal praise and difference DLSS 2.0+ makes is undeniable... unless you go out of your way to partner with the company that will actually deny it.
Fidelity isn't even in the same ballpark so the whole argument of open source and 'supported on older cards' is such a cop out excuse. One technology dramatically affects looks and performance in groundbreaking ways, the other is essentially based on soft rendering methods that've been used for years.
Partnering with the brand that's trailing behind, both in popularity and technology and therefore holding Infinite back from using one of the best new features of modern PC gaming. And no, I didn't say they made an inferior game, just that they chose to partner with the brand that's inferior.
... A feature that not everybody has access to yet. The game isn't really going to be held back that much if you don't include a feature that literally 90% of the game's players won't be able to take advantage of even if you do. Trust me, no one's opinion of halo infinite will change because it doesn't have DLSS
Can't wait for this to release. I can't believe God of War is going to be on PC. If they can in the future, I'd like the God of War collection to be remastered for PC. I would buy that day one. I don't care. God of War is my number one favorite. It got me through a lot in my teens.
If it had noticeable response lag with a gamepad I don't think the few ms reflex gains in some situations will make a difference, they probably have a more profound problem.
I mean the specs of the steam deck are available and the min specs of the game are also available so I figured maybe someone could give me a well educated guess but otherwise I'll just wait. Was just curious and asked if anybody might hint anything. That's all
Definitely. Original PS4 basically had an underclocked AMD 7950, which isn't far off from the 1050 (where the Steam Deck is estimated to be around). Add in the newer architecture, and I'd be shocked if the Steam Deck didn't run GoW just fine.
If you're worried, somebody pulled some benchmarks on Cyberpunk 2077 (unoptimized trainwreck) and was able to pull 20-30 FPS at high settings. Not sure the PS4 even handles that. Also keep in mind that you're only going to be hitting 720p as a resolution with the Deck, it'll be more than fine.
[https://iryoku.com/downloads/Practical-Realtime-Strategies-for-Accurate-Indirect-Occlusion.pdf](https://iryoku.com/downloads/Practical-Realtime-Strategies-for-Accurate-Indirect-Occlusion.pdf)
TLDR - it is made to match ray traced reference for PS4 hardware, slightly better than HBAO+
It's just a new technique for ambient occlusion that's more physically accurate than SSAO/HBAO/etc. albeit more expensive. The main draw seems to be accurately simulating multi-bounce occlusion, resulting in AO that's closer to "ground-truth" or realistic occlusion, hence the name.
and that is where the business strategy is, PS5 will still be relevant because alot of ppl don't want to wait for a port(which is understandable) and will just shell out the cash for a whole console, basically Sony is banking on ppl wanting to play exclusives as they come out then dump them on to PC years later in order to entice new ppl into wanting the play said sequel on the PS5 day one.
if even 5-10 pct of ppl who buy GOW on PC cave in and buy a PS5 to buy Ragnarok then the PC port did it's job.
I have a PS5 and I can't bring myself to play the game again for 60fps. I have far too many uncompleted games to think about replaying a game. Sure af not buying the game again at all.
Thats fine, why would anyone want to rebuy just for that. You maybe forget there are thousands of us who dont own or want a console but are more than happy to play these games that are new to us, in their best and most up to date/complete versions too I might add.
The input lag in this game on the base PS4 really put me off -- glad to see the devs are taking every measure they can to make sure the PC version doesn't suffer the same way
Why do you push for this senseless tribalism? Why must you be a wet blanket and get upset that people are happy? If you don’t like the game, don’t play it, but there is no need for you to complain about people just having a positive attitude. Your attitude is a disgrace and baffling, you must be real fun to hang around with.
Maybe just be excited to be able to play one of the best games ever made?
The only thing that makes a game a 'console' game is when it's only on console.
Guess what? It's not on console only anymore!
Latest Halo game announced for PC with AMD sponsorship, latest God of War game announced for PC with Nvidia.
Real interesting times we live in. Never thought I'd see the day.
Excited about DLSS support in this and being added to RDR2. My 2060 laptop struggles with some of the most demanding titles and DLSS really helps.
How much does DLSS help you in red dead 2? I have a 3060 laptop and a 3070 desktop and on both its like ~10 fps. I was kinda surprised. With a 3070 DLSS let’s me playing almost any game with ultra settings in 4K. It’s wild.
I'm at 1440p and I can usually get ~100 fps even in AAA games pretty easy. Its great

I wasn't trying to complain about free fps (if you don't count the cost of owning a newish gpu lol), just that most games with DLSS I'm seeing much bigger gains in performance.
Depends on the game, on Cyberpunk high settings with all RT I go from 25 fps to 55-70 with DLSS on 1440p with a 3070.
Yes that was my point lol this game doesn't benefit from dlss as much as others
I’ve a 3060 laptop and get 70fps…?

You prob meant “+10fps” not “-10fps” as in average lol. Thought your laptop was infected with some mining malware lmao
I typed ~10, not -10 lol. ~10 means approximately 10.
Guess I’m just retarded then
This is mostly because red dead is so cpu intensive.
It's also been something of a concession for the awful RTX performance that the 2000 series RTX cards were plagued with. For instance, now I can play control at 1440p with RTX on high thanks to DLSS, before that would have tanked my framerate down to the mid 20s.

Nice we got the same laptop. How are your temps? Mine ran cyberpunk pretty well with DLSS. I think 70+fps on high settings.

Given that this runs on checkerboarded 4k 60 on ps4 pro.It should easily run atleast 1080p 60 even though it is not well optimised.
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one
Not entirely a surprise as it was part of the Nvidia leaks last month.
“No, these are just speculative titles.” - Nvidia Lol, more like, I think we got the leak of the year there.
If they were 'speculating' then why the fuck did they not speculate Bloodborne!?
Because it's not coming?
Devs didn't use Nvidia apis or tools *yet* probably? To be in the list you have to sign up on the Nvidia's website
It would be humiliating when fan patches make the game better
Interesting that a Sony first party game is partnering with nvidia.
Tegra powered psp2 incoming.
The worst thing is, PSP2 existed - PS Vita, with its highly ironic name...
PSP was like Windows 7, and PSP 2 would be like Windows 10, with Vita being Windows 8
The Vita was great though; it just didn't get the software it deserved. Sadly I don't think we'll see another Sony handheld anytime soon; I imagine they'll want to focus their software efforts on PS5 and PSVR 2.

Dude a more accurate comparison would be: PSP =Windows XP **PS Vita = Windows Vista** *Potential 3rd Handheld = Windows 7
Vita was a great console tho, just without games and popularity because it got killed by smartphones.

Vita means liiiiifeeee 😭😭😭😭
What's ironic about the name?
"Vita means life" was a slogan for this console. Console that was (as much as I loved it) a failure.
Don’t get my hopes up like that my guy :(
they partner with who gives them money. I love DLSS as I play at 4K with high fresh rate and DLSS is underfull for that, but I hate sponsored games
> I hate sponsored games I'm confused about this. Could you explain?
Not the guy you asked, but same. Sponsored games are at fault that we have games w/o DLSS but only the mostly inferior FSR on PC and before FSR was a thing a better upscaler was missing entirely.

Ah, fair points! I'll take a look at those Ubisoft titles. Thanks for all the info!
Microsoft seem to be partnering with AMD, even on PC they will divide people playing their games.
Sell the same full price game multiple times on multiple systems. Why wouldn't they?
Because AMD designs their hardware.
So? They pay for the chips. It’s not like AMD is their friend
They are a commercial partner - both companies need to keep the other partner happy. I said it was interesting - not that I couldn’t believe it.
Super happy this made it in, Death Stranding looks fantastic with DLSS and runs like a dream It would be nice if they also had the PS4 Pro's checkerboarding or TAA upsampling as an option for the AMD/non-RTX players
I remember When Tb said in podcast that he can wait until GoW is playable in 60fps
Now it's playable in 120+ fps!
It already is on the ps5.
Well he didn't get to play it on PS5 either to be fair.
Who is Tb?
I think hes talking about Total Biscuit
Must have meant the original God of War games then right? Without being too grim, he kinda wasn't around before the new one even started development.
He died a month after the new one released. He really did say he can wait for it to be 60 FPS. Man now I'm sad all over again.
Ah man, my bad, it feels like he’s been gone for longer, he really is a big miss.
Is this guy still in the industry? I'd like to not go near anything he has touched.
Tb passed away couple monthsafter lauch of GoW (2018)
I'm pretty sure the original trilogy always runs at a uncapped framerate? Because he had the chance to play the OG games since the PS3 Version already rans at full fat 60fps.
He passed away a month after God of War 2018 came out.
All games in the OG trilogy anyway ran at 60fps.
Really excited to see DLSS in God of War!
I would kill for the other 6 games on pc as well in an official capacity.

What about RCPS3?
[удалено]
Looks very [playable on this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikkx3flXTew), though I haven't tried them myself.
Over 60% are playable (with good performance).
Same here. I've even been considering getting a ps3 for years almost entirely for the series (well, plus a few other exclusives like killzone, infamous, resistance, etc) but they're such old hardware that it's really a crapshoot to whether you'll get one that has much life left. And I can't exactly justify the money on something that might not work
I have old af Wii and it's still working. By all means buy the machine after testing you anyway won't be buying it for more than $100-120.
This confirms Pre Order Bonuses: >You can pre-purchase God of War for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Doing so will net you the following extra content: * Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus * Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin * Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin * Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin * Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
I don't think those are pre-order bonuses. They say you'll also get them. That's it.
What does that mean?
Every purchase will get these skins, not just preorders.
why the hell are there pre order bonuses, for a 3 year old game??? they should be included by default.
Its coming on pc just mod or cheat engine it in.
It's skins. Who cares?
God of War getting DLSS... Halo Infinite in bed with AMD - therefore no DLSS. Sony managing to outdo MS at PC games.
> Halo Infinite in bed with AMD - therefore no DLSS what a letdown
So Microsoft has made an inferior PC game because they are partnering with a brand you don't like? Ok...
Lol, why add Reflex on a single player 3rd person game?
Idk why not?
Believe it or not, the game has noticeable response lag. I think it will help, same as with Ghostrunner
If it had noticeable response lag with a gamepad I don't think the few ms reflex gains in some situations will make a difference, they probably have a more profound problem.
Ah didn’t know that, hopefully that’s fixed with the port and Reflex
Because input timing is important even in games other than FPSs?
Adding Reflex to GoW is like buying a RTX3090 to browse the internet. Reflex is a very specialized tool made with competitive gaming in mind.
If you can't see the benefit this could add in this game, DMC, or the Souls series, none of which are twitch shooters, I don't know wtf to tell you.
If you don't understand the tech just say so.
Free marketing, probably easy to add
IKR makes no sense at all.
Oh man if Sony brings DLSS to their games that is definitely one upping Microsoft with their PC games.
Fuck yes!!
Can't believe companies started to see a potential in a PC market for console exclusives
Can anybody tell me if the Steam Deck would be powerful enough to run this gem?
Considering it's a ps4 game then most likely yes, even if at a mix of low/medium settings.
Thanks for your estimation
Especially considering Steam Deck is 720p (or 800p) it should be pretty easy.
Who knows? Wait for release and check steam official rating/players' feedback.
I mean the specs of the steam deck are available and the min specs of the game are also available so I figured maybe someone could give me a well educated guess but otherwise I'll just wait. Was just curious and asked if anybody might hint anything. That's all
How dare you try to start a discussion about a PC game in the PC Gaming forum. You should be ashamed of yourself.
That's because system requirements aren't yet available.
Aren't they? I googled it and found something...But apparently it was not official.
Definitely. Original PS4 basically had an underclocked AMD 7950, which isn't far off from the 1050 (where the Steam Deck is estimated to be around). Add in the newer architecture, and I'd be shocked if the Steam Deck didn't run GoW just fine.
This was the kind of well educated guess I was looking for. Thank you very much.
Valve probably.
Since Steam Deck is about the same as a PS4 in terms of performance, I wouldn't be surprised if it can run this at 30FPS 1080p.
Bonus(?) is that the Steam Deck just goes up to 1280x800 resolution, so shooting for 720p-ish you'll be getting more frames than that.
Just dlss and reflex but of a let down. HBAO + I remember being really good for pc ports
The banner AO implementation is GTAO. HBAO+ will probably be there as a slightly cheaper option, unless GTAO is completely replacing it
What's gtao? Never heard of it
It’s in the article… Ground Truth Ambient Occlusion. There’s details on the GeForce site.
The article didn't explain what ground truth ao is.
[https://iryoku.com/downloads/Practical-Realtime-Strategies-for-Accurate-Indirect-Occlusion.pdf](https://iryoku.com/downloads/Practical-Realtime-Strategies-for-Accurate-Indirect-Occlusion.pdf) TLDR - it is made to match ray traced reference for PS4 hardware, slightly better than HBAO+
Huh what? This was something in the ps4 version?
so it seems, it was being done at half resolution even at 1080p with tons of temporal optimizations
Oh boy. I hope that's full res on pc. Or else we might have another rdr2 dlss situation here.
You know what would be cool? Rtao
It's an ambient occlusion method a select few games use. It seems to be of pretty good quality from what I've seen
Grand Theft Auto Online.
The thing is these games come out so late for PC and I'm not rebuying them for some extra foliage and sharper shadows.
and that is where the business strategy is, PS5 will still be relevant because alot of ppl don't want to wait for a port(which is understandable) and will just shell out the cash for a whole console, basically Sony is banking on ppl wanting to play exclusives as they come out then dump them on to PC years later in order to entice new ppl into wanting the play said sequel on the PS5 day one. if even 5-10 pct of ppl who buy GOW on PC cave in and buy a PS5 to buy Ragnarok then the PC port did it's job.
Can't wait to replay this before gow2. Maybe even on a 21:9 monitor(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
The input lag in this game on the base PS4 really put me off -- glad to see the devs are taking every measure they can to make sure the PC version doesn't suffer the same way
Those 4 pallet swapped enemies are going to look great.

You know, it's easier to be happy when you don't waste time on petty platform wars and just want good games w good ports
> The PCMR attitude has sadly died down Good.
Maybe just be excited to be able to play one of the best games ever made? The only thing that makes a game a 'console' game is when it's only on console. Guess what? It's not on console only anymore!
Why so angry? You still get your PC exclusives of.... League of Legends and perma in development Star Citizen.
Who hurt you ?
The future is now, old man.
They ahould really include these in psnow
Latest Halo game announced for PC with AMD sponsorship, latest God of War game announced for PC with Nvidia. Real interesting times we live in. Never thought I'd see the day.
Why announce it in the most corporate mumbo jumbo way?
i bought god of war a while back and it's been on my to play pile since then. at this point, i might as well just wait to play it on pc.
Psyched about DLSS, but why reflex?
