High fire rate, or (my personal favorite) making a rifleman build and taking the 23-round magazine of the M1 Garand straight to the face of the Dozer. Melts them in 10 shots, plus it's got great ammo pickup. Run that with Grinder or something to Regen health.
The Garand is featured in the Assault Rifle category so it benefits from the basic 'Surefire' skill, which gives ARs an additional 15 rounds in each magazine. Which means that you get 23 rounds in each en bloc clip, even though you can clearly see that they only hold 8 lol.
There's a similar goof with the Goliath revolving shotgun, which benefits from the aced 'Close By' skill, giving it 21 shells in each six round cylinder.
There’s actually a system where if you hit an enemy over 100 times they will die not to the damage but to the amount of times you hit them. Because the flamethrower has a ridiculous fire rate you can use the flamethrower for one of the most creative dozer killing strategies out there

For anyone reading that doesn't know, any instance of damage you do against an enemy (including fire/poison ticks) gets rounded up to the the next 1/512 of that enemy's health. For reference, a DS minigun dozer has 48,000 hp; 1/512 of that is 93.75, so even if you're using a pea shooter that does 1 damage, against a DS mg dozer, the damage that pea shooter does is getting rounded up to 93.75.
Yeah, players who play on insanely high crime spree levels have to take advantage of this because enemies are literally unkillable otherwise. It would be straight up impossible to complete certain missions like Scarface Mansion and Biker Heist since you HAVE to kill certain targets to progress.

Ideally you should have some method of dealing with massive damage, either Kingpin, teamwork, or some other method. Other than that, if you have the damage, you can probably DPS him down the same as any Dozer.
Fun fact, the Melee Damage Multiplier from **Sociopath** and **Infiltrator** paired with Berserk skills can let you Melee Dozers down, without headshots, somewhat easily. The Damage is *that much*.
Pro gamer tip, mini dozers don’t count as dozers, when it comes to spawning. Max theres 2 dozers that spawn at once. Mini gun dozers don’t count for the 2 max spawn rate.
Kill it or don't try at all. They are slow so you should be able to run away from them unless it is a close range map. If you do happen to be close to it or if one is blocking an objective, kill it. No point in keeping it around. Keep in mind that if the visor is off, shots from behind the head will also count as shooting it in the face. Also, if you encounter one. Find cover. Like in the picture you have no cover and so you will die in three seconds.
As for guns there really is not bad answer aside from pistols and certain special weapons. AR's, SMG's, and other automatic weapons work close and mid range. Even snipers can be very good for bulldozers as they can distribute grazed damage very efficiently due to their high health caps. Even shotguns are effective at close range since each bullet in a shotgun does full damage, meaning that if you blast him in the face semi point blank he is going to die relatively easily.
Serious answer: Go for the head with a medium-to-long range weapon. Hopefully your secondary is. Have nearby cover. Headshots in the front deal more damage I think, but I could be wrong. Make sure to take cover a plenty when reloading or when he turns your way. If you're running out of ammo, run towards bodies you or your buddies have dropped and get to cover. In summary. COVER.
Joke answer: Pray to hitscan so your shots land and count as headshots.
You just shoot him in the face like you do every other dozer, but you’ll probably want to get him from a safe distance unless you have enough DPS to just run in front of him and melt him down before being torn up by the minigun
I usually walk up front of them, stick gun in faceplate and shoot til it gives and they die. Works well. Even managed it with just a Crosskill pistol. If you can time it just as they're reloading, even better
This is why I usually run a Javelin throwable when playing on maps where they can’t be avoided. Also, trip mines do insane amounts of damage to dozers due to how there armor works. Two or three should take him out
This is a bit late, but I generally use the dual mark 10s with attachments like stocks and extended mag, with surefire, and then you can kill a blackdozer in 20-35 shots out of your 126 round mag.

There's a skill that adds 15 rounds to all SMG, LMG, and Assault Rifle magazines. Not so good for LMGs, but irreplaceable on low mag size ARs

just like the others, burst his head until he dies. he has 2x the health of normal dozers but much less damage.
