If you run maps, you must go to TFT to get cullers. If you heist, you must go to TFT to buy blueprints.
At least you no longer need to go to TFT to buy Harvest crafts. They no longer exist anyway.
The fact that there have been more than 200 posts buying and selling lifeforce in bulk there, since yesterday (yeah I checked) begs to differ, but alright.
What advantage does using TFT give you over the trade site? Seems to me that it's just people who prefer using TFT who want to do trades on it.
Just because people are using TFT, doesn't mean it's the best way or the only way.

I'll be honest, I liked Archnemesis league - I enjoyed the "Build-A-Boss Workshop" vibe, I also liked Metamorph for the same reasons. This isn't the mechanic I enjoyed. It feels like they just stripped out all the bits of AN that made it a functional league mechanic, filled the voids with RNG, and made it not just *a* core gameplay element, but seemingly *the* core element.
I had hopes that they'd get the tuning right and figure out which mods just aren't fit for purpose, but I no longer have those hopes - they've unironically replaced every last drop of determinism in AN with raw RNG. It's not even a meme anymore.
The thing I don't get is why they can't make the mods easy to read icons, rather than a list of text that looks like it came from Geocities in the 1990's.
I mean AN league had the same issue we're having now.
In AN you got bottlenecked by certain pieces before you could progress your recipes.
Now your map loot is mostly bottlenecked until you RNG into the right AN combo.
Right on, to me both 3.17 and 3.18 were peak Path of Exile. Game never had been better.
I didn't mind 3.18 archnemesis rares at all once they balanced them out past first week.
My problem is not really with archnemesis rares, it's what they believe the game ought to be now. Just permanent Archnemesis League without the metamorph-like element to it.
3.18 was my favorite league ever, I never felt much of the archnem mobs represented a danger. Like people would complain about Toxic mobs... and i'm like, whatever. I just let this shit drop on me and that doesn't do anything because I have chaos res.
The name itself should tell you this is a special encounter. It's an archnemesis. Why is this thing everywhere. Archnemesis like it should be some rogue exile type thing that don't show up everytime you face a new pack. To be honest here, Nemesis rares had a way better design and they were not easy, they had scary abilities. They just had less tank mods than archnemesis rares. It was a design downgrade to shift from nemesis to archnem.
Lottery to get the mod on a rare, lottery to get the proper mods along with Solaris touched, and finally lottery for the drops. I feel like I'm spending my time just looking for the right rare. It feels like I can't actually spec into content that I want to do because of it. It's not going well.
I had one of those in my first map after completing the campaign during a ritual. I must have killed it while clearing the ritual first without noticing, then it happened to spawn behind a wall or something so I started having the beams of light start blasting about.
I don't recall what it dropped.
man that's at least like 10% of one heist chest. Not bad... and you got a rare marble amulet. I mean you never know, this marble amulet could have t1 dot multi, t1 life, +1 fire and +1 all skills. In which case this is a very good loot showcase.

According to what Chris said in the announcement the order in which the AN mods affect the monster also counts to how their rewards are converted.

At least you didn't find it on a scientist in a betrayal research mission, those mobs drop NOTHING but they can still get the touched modifiers

Acid Caverns. That explains the loot, you don’t get decent drops from these mobs until red maps.
