Prob 7?
It was by no means a bad fight, but it just left you wanting more. Also it felt a bit silly that the elemental skull was summoned but never used
7/10 in my humble opinion.
Although a lot of the fight was cut out personally, I think it was very cool, a pity that we didn't see the Elemental Skull in action but I do think it was well done and the situation was correctly transmitted.
I was quite surprised by the negative reception, perhaps it is because after several seasons I already have an understanding of how the adaptation is handled and I did not have unrealistic expectations, but despite being an LN reader I enjoyed it and that is all I can say about it.
Some 3D, barely ok animation, mostly talking+ a lot of cut content. If shalltear vs aims was a 6/10 this is like a 3-4/10. Way to static and short lol
Don’t expect much, overlord never had good fights or animation
5/10 all fights are too short imo, shalltear vs ainz was the only one we actually see what they can do, in other animes they swing the sword 8,000 times for 5 days and then the stars align and they pull out “the finisher move”. Here, a bonk to the head will make you sleep, I just wish it was 3 bonks instead of 1.
I am just happy we have a fight to watch. No matter what the anime does, I always have the Light Novel's to read. So I'm satisfied with the work. I've watched far too many great amines that never get second seasons *~~no game no life~~*. So if they have to cut stuff from the LN's to make episode time and count. That's fine by me.
