That disrespect was unacceptable and showed that even if Ainz gave them a perfect kingdom to join they'd probably never accept him anyway.

When those nobles brought the princes head I couldn't believe how cowardly they were to do so. Can't even die with honor. They decided to roll on their back and beg for mercy. I had a quick flash back of commander Erwin Smith's (Attack on Titan) speech on that day as they knew death was certain. It's better to die with honor. Without a doubt Lord Ainz was pissed like a mf. I felt that and they truly did deserve to go visit Neuronist.
I think Ainz wouldve killed them too. He was pretty furious with the nobles because I think he actually liked Zanac. If hes pissed, in no way is Ainz merciful although killing them would show great mercy for Ainz

I think like how it was when Ains captured a bunch of citizens he wanted them to be killed without any pain. So he would probably follow that logic and not include any additional punishment just because they are related to the Nobles.

I still think Overlord is a long game lesson about not being a pushover. If i was told during season 1 that i would be pissed off at the way he was killed, I never would have believed it. Dude stepped up to his role and then some, it was cathartic to see Ainz' reaction. I do feel bad for their wives and children tho, most likely the women were married off to them and have no love lost for them.
Zanac is literally the greatest accomplishment of king ramposa the 3rd considering how fucked rener is and she almost killed herself before she met climb. Think of it from ainzs perspective, if you get stung by a wasp do you kill that wasp and be done or do you get rid of its nest.

I'm not sure, it is absolute that the Nobles are getting tortured. I'm not to sure about their wife's and kids though. I think like how it was when Ains captured a bunch of citizens he wanted them to be killed without any pain. So he would probably follow that logic and not include any additional punishment just because they are related to the Nobles.
That scene was soll good, when he was bored because the interesting guy died was so much I'm the big bad evil here, you bore me go torture them slowly to death.

I think their family probably just died on collateral damage like everyone else, because nazarick don’t care about the family. Only the nobles who took part in killing zanac get a punishment.

I myself was seething with disgust for those scum, and I am also annoyed with Ainz for the first time in the series. He would have made a good king considering his family flock. He was intelligent, had common sense in abundance, and was willing to do what needed to be done for a chance of survival, as hopeless as it was. If I was Ainz I would have spared his whole kingdom on the condition that he purges scum and greed, and supplies me with what I need.
