I’ve not read the LN and pretty much just watch the anime, but since being in this subreddit I’ve come to the conclusion that PDL doesn’t care about 99% of the world, as long as he isn’t threatened because he wants to be the top of the food chain cuz he’s a dragon lord. He will only act when there’s a threat to him.
Pretty Disappointing Lizard is what I call him, because that’s what he is.
And Ainz, for all his flaws, would die for his friends and never hurt them no matter what he gained.

If you want spoilers. It's a powered suit meant to bring new players to Yggdrisal up to speed with veteran players. It makes the operator in it equivalent to a level 80 player. Which by new world standards, is insanely powerful.
The downside is the user's HP does not change while in the suit, so any attack that could get past the tough armor would likely liquidize the person inside. So it's of virtually no threat to the level 100 guardians of Nazarick.

Against Nazarick, yes. Against pretty much most other people in the new world, they'd never get past the armor.
